Fun cheap bit of fun, mine arrived and worked although draw was a little stiff at first I waxed the slider gave it to a visiting pal, who turns out really detests spiders 🕷️ already had my monies worth just from that one reaction. If you want cheap entertainment go for it if you want to whinge about quality there is plenty to moan about! Over all buy it and don't be miserable. It only needs to work on 2 or 3 people and you've had your monies worth!!

The kid was too tight and the spider kept getting stuck.. pulled it hard and it broke off from the spider , rubbish piece of toy

It works, for a while, then the mechanism sort of fails. But I got a jump out of everyone in my family before it failed, and the kids love it anyway. No doubt they'll soon destroy it but as they say, you get what you pay for and this was very cheap and came a long way to get here. An awfully long wait for it, actually... but for the money a little bit of fun for everyone.

i really did'nt expect too much after reading other reviews, and for the price,but i've been impressed so far! the spider looks great too, i'm thinking about buying a second one just to take the spider out! because i can't seem to find good looking spiders for pranks anymore!you need to get creative with your stories to get people to open it up! (i've had success telling people that its sweets (candy) from a nature-loving company with zero carbon footprint so they use wooden boxes instead of plastic packaging!)

Gave a few near heart attacks, till the spider flew off the end, landing on my daughters lap. She screamed, fell onto the dog, dog ended up running into the closed French window, smashing the glass giving me a £400 bill. So I'd say it works pretty well.
