This jacket is an excellent buy. The fit is very good, and the quality is excellent. When I ordered this coat, based on some of the previous comments, I was concerned about the size and whether it would fit. I am 5' 7", 42 inch chest, 34 inch waist, and weigh 180 lbs. The medium size fits me perfectly! I wear a size 16-32/33 shirt and the sleeves on this coat are a perfect length.The goatskin is soft and supple, but it is not as soft as a lambskin coat that I also have. The feel of the leather is terrific. The fur collar also has a great feel. The snaps that are used to remove the collar are hidden well, although I have not tried to remove the collar yet. On several occasions I have turned the collar up for warmth and it felt great.It took me a while to get used to the side entry pockets. They are pretty far to the side of the coat, but now that the leather has been 'broken in' it is getting easier to get my hands in them. The interior pocket is perfect for a cell phone and it is deep enough that there is no danger of the phone falling out. The location of the pocket is also perfect; it is very convenient to put a phone in or out of the pocket.The insulation in the coat is a type of thin fiber fill. I have been using the coat with the temperatures in the thirties with a good breeze blowing, and the warmth is excellent. All in all, I am very, very pleased with this leather jacket. For the price it can't be beat!

I'd been looking for a replacement for my old leather coat for some time and wanted a shorter length than I had. I purchased this and have been using it since it got cold. It seems to be well-made and heavy enough to keep me warm when I'm outside. The goatskin leather is buttery soft and the wool shearling collar is seriously warm, but it is removeable if you don't want it (I can't imagine why anyone would do that, though).Great jacket for Philadelphia winters. Looking forward to many of them.

First, I'd suggest ordering one size larger than what one normally wears. I had to exchange my original order for an XXL. The chest and shoulders for my normal XL size were too tight. The sleeve length is fine for my 6' 1" frame. The label says there's a small part of the jacket is plastic, but I can't find out where that is.Leave it to the Navy to use tight buttons on jacket pockets designed for cold weather; it would be tough to manipulate them with gloves on. I am a retired USAF pilot. My issue-spec USAF leather A-2 jacket is much more user-friendly, but not as warm as the G-1. I wish it had a lighter-colored color as an option, but I can order that later. The dark brown is indeed more authentic, but I have a beautiful B-3 jacket with a natural shearling collar, and it adds a lot.Again, I think this jacket is great for the money.

Leather is soft and the fur collar is very nice. The jacket is warmer than I thought. The only negative about this jacket is that the pockets are too shallow to put anything in. Even a set of keys fall out quite easily from the side pockets and the two front pockets are not so good in size as well. You can't fit a S4 phone comfortably. The inside pocket is small and shallow and located too low. Pocket wise I would give it 2 stars but just for the jacket it deserves 4 stars. Overall, for the price the jacket is good enough.

Without a doubt, this is THE sexiest piece of clothing that I have ever purchased!It fits like a glove (I am 6'2", 260 with my height in my torso), smells wonderful, has serious heft, gorgeous collar, total quality construction, warm as *bleep*. I am actually looking forward to cold weather! (Well, maybe not, but ...)Last year, I purchased two leather jackets from other sources and returned both: light weight, poor construction. I will be wearing this gem for years!

This jacket, so far, is great. I am 5-10, 235, somewhat barrel chested with big shoulders. I was having a hard time finding a leather flight jacket that fit over my chest and arms comfortably. Now, I normally wear an XL, but I couldn't even find flight jackets in XXL that fit comfortably. I purchased a XXL flight jacket from Wilsons.com and I could barely move my arms. I had the same problem with XXLs that I tried at various department stores. I read good reviews of this jacket, so I gave it a try in size XXL. It is the most comfortable jacket by far and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is light and easy to move around in, yet with the thinsulate, it is very warm. The zipper feels solid. The fur collar detaches easily but adds to the warmth and style. The jacket is listed as being goat leather, which is supposed to be very durable, but I cannot confirm this because the jacket label merely states 100% leather. It is definitely not lamb though, I can at least say that much. My only criticism would be that the pockets are too shallow; they are barely big enough to fit my hands inside. But otherwise, I anticipate that this jacket will keep me warm and comfortable for a long time.

I really love this. I'm wearing almost every day since I bought it 3 months ago.But there is a con.It feels like ALL of buttons(collar/pocket) are sewn loose, and some of them(fur buttons on collar) are actually falling off...I hope this button thing is only happening for me because I would recommend this to my friends.
