Very sturdy and nice quality
Bought these to nail across the top of a fence and several months later they are still there and showing no signs of ageing. The plastic is firm and yet easy enough to cut to size and the spikes are fairly hard and do the job. The have preset holes in them for nails/secrews although you need to make you own if they are shortened to fit. We have painted ours the same colour as the fence and they paint well without the paint peeling off.

Easy to install & effective
As much as I love nature and wildlife, when you want to try and keep your garden clean and tidy for as long and you can without birds messing up your garden furniture or fences, this is certainly and preventer, well to the bigger birds anyway, comes in strips of 3, but can be cut down and stripped with a Stanley blade to single strips

East to fit and very spikes, although cats can still walk across it - slowly
I’ve put a triple spiked length of this stuff along the top of a 5m wooden trellis to stop cats walking along it and into my garden. The damn cats still walk across it but you can see they aren’t enjoying it and have to walk vert, very slowly. Doesn’t stop birds at all. Helps, but isn’t the solution I hoped it would be. Easy to cut and install and nice and cheap. Spikes are sharp but not quite sharp enough to stop determined cats.

Pigeon scarer
Pigeons were a real problem, poo all over the place. Tried a couple of fake crows but they soon got used to them and sat next to them! We have a metal railing and is it is narrow, we cut it into single strips. The birds have not been back. I have seen other posts where the birds have perched on top of them, but perhaps it’s because they were able to spread their claws over the 3 spikes, but using just one strip of spikes it is too painful?

No screws.
Easy to fix in place, perfect for my needs to keep the pigeons of my trellis my pooing allover it and the decking. One point to note before buying, it doesn't come with screws. Good job I'm married to a joiner.

Easy to fit, and giving the foxes something to think about before hopping on the fence.
