I had no trouble removing the wax (and hairs) with and without a pre-wax treatment. The wax catches short fine hairs (one week lip/chin growth) and longer ones. Saves a ton of moneyyyy when you have PCOS & alot of facial hair. I usually wax every Friday night mostly my upper lip and chin/neck. I also use it on my sideburns/cheeks. This is by far my favorite wax, it adheres completely to all the hair no matter how small, does not break once on my skin. I usually leave it on for a full minute then rip it off. It also melts easily & doesn't "burn" like other waxes do. I say this because sometimes I forget to turn off the melting pot and till this day I havent experienced burned wax or burning smells. Again probably depends the temperature of the pot too but since I know I forget sometimes I always keep it on medium.
