Makes a great gift

I received the seed, planted as instructed, but never imagined the beautiful flowers that bloomed.

The media could not be loaded.  This was a beautiful color but it not a standard amarillis. This should be two large flowers per stalk not 4 smaller ones Had I known I would not have bought

Not only did the bulb sprout quickly, it's size and depth of crimson color is the most beautiful I've seen. I purchased it for my mom at Christmas time. She loves it!!!!💖Mom's happy...I'm thrilled!

Opened package containing my amazon order of Mandela Dark Red Amaryllis from Marde Ross & Company. The bulb was rotten to its core. Very disappointed. Marde Ross has not responded to my e-mail and phone call.

This bulb arrived in extremely poor condition. It was soft and mushy instead of firm. It had an odor of decomposition instead of the smell of earth. I planted it in hopes it would be salvageable, but the leaves never emerged, much less a flower stalk. It was soon completely decomposed. I’m extremely disappointed in this purchase.

The bulb that we received was deformed as it had the leaves growing out of the top all bent over to one side! When it started to send up the flower stems they too were bent over to one side! The leaves and flower stem grew to only 2 inches no where near what they should have been!!! The color was a lovely dark red and the blossoms only stayed open for 2 days before the died off!!!I DO KNOW HOW TO RAISE these bulbs as we had the growing in our yard down in Florida for years!!!! Now that we live in the North I bought this bulb thinking it would grow well in our sunny South facing glass slider door. This poor little bulb never had a chance!!!!!

The bulb was planted immediately in potting soil but was not shipped properly. It has not produced even one leaf after several weeks.
