Cuticura Pain Relieving Medicated Ointment with Phenol - 1 oz

This is an old school ptoduct that my mom used for my skin as a child. For rashes, and itchy skin this product is amazing and still works a bit pricey but well worth it.

My parents introduced me to this medicated ointment when I was a baby. I've used this all my life and have even shared this product with friends. My roommate uses it now since he found just how good it is for his cuts, burns, etc. Just the other day Glen mentioned how he can't believe just how good this medicated ointment works. You can treat diaper rash on babies (my parents used it on us) or dry rough skin caused by your work. My Father was an electrician and his hands suffered from the work. He put this on at night and his hands remained soft because of it. Its worth the price for a product that actually works.

I’m 3rd generation using Cuticura ointment. It’s the best for chapped lips and dry patches. I use it on my face on the days I’m not using Retin A.A little goes a long way. I believe it’s the phenol that helps my skin. I only wish it still came in a tin.

I gave it four stars because what did you think of the price of each item. I feel like it was a little expensive for what I got.

I wish the tube was a little pit bigger it’s purse size. But it works well for all kind of things.

This ointment has been around for years. My mother got it for me when I was a teenager, and it worked great for getting rid of blackheads when I used it in conjunction with the soap. It also works well for minor skin irritations. Drawbacks for some people may be that it is greasy, and that it smells medicinal. When I used it for acne I put it on at night and washed it off in the morning, and had to protect my pillow from the possibility of staining. I found that it softened the blackheads I had, making it easy to remove them with cleansing grains and a homemade facial. My skin looked really good.
