Amazing Sound
Over the years I've owned many pairs of speakers, the last being a set of B&Ws from the late 1980s. These speakers absolutely blow away anything I've ever owned. The European design touted by Paradigm had zero to do with my decision to purchase, yet upon placement they look fantastic and my wife was very impressed as well. The sound? WOW! Unbelievable how much I've missed over the years. The highs are simply spectacular. I broke them in with a few songs I've heard hundreds, if not thousands of times and I heard so much more than ever before. Now I'm wondering how much more I might have heard at a higher price point, while remaining very happy with this purchase. I've used Paradigms for many years for my other theater speakers. Now I have a completely matched set and couldn't be happier. Incredible value and not so large that they detract from the screen in my rather small 13x13 theater room.

Much Better Speaker For Not A Lot More Money
Great speakers are expensive, but we all WANT great speakers. These sound wonderful, especially for the price. My setup is primarily for a home theater for a 16x20 room (two Paradigm SE 3000F floor standing speakers, one Klipsch 504C center speaker, two Paradigm Monitor SE Atoms for surround sound and a SVS-PB 2000 subwoofer). I put a bit more money into the Klipsch 504C center speaker for clear voice tracks because of the home theater focus. I tried a few combination of speakers, but liked this setup best. It is well-balanced, clear without being harsh, has pretty good punch from both the SVS subwoofer and the Paradigm floor standing speakers, and does a good job filling the room without having to have the volume cranked up too much. I mated the speakers to a 110Wx7 channel Onkyo AV receiver and set it up as a 5.1. While I would have preferred a Denon AV unit for a number of reasons, they were not available at the time. The Onkyo unit was quite easy to set up, and with a few tweaks to speaker levels to balance to the room. The setup does a nice job of presenting quality sound to most all of the primary seating positions in the room. As a home theater setup, for the money, this system would be tough to beat. When I switch to music and put the AV unit in stereo mode, the sound is still quite good, though this setup shines best for home theater. If my primary use-case was music I would save a bit of money by purchasing a less expensive center channel speaker and would upgrade the subwoofer to the SB-3000 (or maybe PB-3000 if I still watched quite a few movies) and maybe even upgrade the floor-standing speakers to the Paradigm SE-6000f. All-in-all, I am very happy with the Paradigm SE 3000f. They are good enough for music and do an incredible job as part of a very nice home theater setup.

Best speakers I've ever owned!
Although these are 'entry-level' speaker offerings from Paradigm, they sound terrific. I may never be able to buy Paradigm's Persona 9H speakers, but these SE 3000F speakers suite me just fine. I am very please with the quality of build and materials and best of all, THEY SOUND GREAT! If you are on a budget but still want quality 'high-fidelity' sound for well under <$1,000.00 a pair, you can't go wrong with these speakers. I am very happy with my purchase!

Much Better Than Expected
These small, but very well made, plain black vinyl covered 3-way towers sound much better than I ever expected. Fresh out of the box they sounded "thin and puny" like their appearance. However, after about 15 to 20 hours of moderate volume play, the sound started to open up nicely and kept improving. The bass is now full, voices are clear and intelligible and cymbals just shine. For me, the dual 5.5" woofers pump out plenty of tuneful bass. The three way design really focuses on the musically important mid range. Very good sounding speakers for both music and video. An excellent value and far more refined when compared to other comparably sized (5.5" single or dual woofer) two way and 2.5 way towers.

Bang for buck unbeatable
I didn’t buy these off Amazon. I found a guy on Marketplace with 2 pair brand new. Rich guy and I don’t know the circumstances. I was looking for cheapo garage speakers and saw this! They are waay to good for the garage but that’s what I’m using it for. So after getting 2 pairs for $400! I sold one pair for $375 and kept the other pair. Paired with an old Luxman 2 channel I got for 5 bucks at a garage sale this is just a really impressive sounding system. Super punchy and detailed. Surprising the bass these put out and how loud they can get and keep composure. My house system has a retail price of around 15k and while it definitely sounds better it’s amazing how kinda close these guys come. In the summer I listen to this way more than my house system since I’m outside smoking meat and drinkin ;-).

Not good for nearfield, and probably not good at all
I listened to the 3000F's in two rooms, a living room, and a listening room. In a very large living room, sitting 6 feet away, the treble is bright, but to my ears, manageable. When moved into nearfield (75 inches away), I have never heard a speaker so ridiculously bright, it makes B&W seem neutral. I got a headache within minutes each time I listened to any song. The soundstage and imaging is also ridiculously bad, a regular speaking person could be 5 feet, before moving 8 feet into the air when doing a high note, or 2 feet when doing a low note. No doubt due to the fact that the speaker is not using an MTM design and is in the nearfield. I tried to fix this with extensive rake angle before I lost all imaging and cannot pinpoint sound anywhere even after multiple speaker repositions. In summary, this speaker is probably good if you're seated very far away, and this is one of the worst speakers in the nearfield.

Crushes the big box store speakers
I built a home theater system using Polk T50's from a big box store. I tried to like them for the cheap price/value, but returned them for the Monitor SE6000's after extensive research. These are in a different league than the Polks and worth every penny for the upgrade in sound. These give off a beautiful sound stage - very wide and open with great clarity without being tiring to your ears. The mid-bass is tight and responsive. Two thumbs up!

They may not look like super audio towers but they certainty sound tight. At 35 watts from a Cambridge audio amp they sound great. Full, sharp and fulfilling sound. Never a bust with paradigm!

These speakers are a great value. They deliver great clean sound at all ranges. I don't feel the need to add a SUB woofer to this 2 speaker setup. 8ohm impedance and great range. not hard to drive even from the likes of the Fossi Audio Z3 amp.

Sound quality is stunning for sub-1000$ towers. I’d stack these up against speakers worth 2-3x more and they would hold their ground. I paired these with the Atom bookshelves and the matching center speaker as well as an SVS PB-1000 to create a 5.1 system. It sounds unbelievable- music sounds rich and detailed and movies really come to life. Very glad I went with an all Paradigm setup as it came out to only about 60$ more than an equivalent home-theater-in-a-box Klipsh system from Costco but the sound field as well as the look and feel of the speakers is much better in my opinion.

Purchased to replace my very good Energy C1 bookshelf units that I have had for many years, I am still breaking them in as it’s reported on take at least 20 hours to get the best sound from them . So far I am not overwhelmed with the sound yet ( the Energy units are great performers and actually cost me more when I purchased them many years ago) Time will tell . Update after a good break in period, they sound better and better every time I listen to them and I now rate them at 5 stars .
