LEGO Ninjago 70666 The Golden Dragon

My son got this for his 8th birthday and loves it. He is really into lego ninjago and knows all the characters so he was very excited to get an "Overlord" minifigure in the set (apparently that figure doesn't come with very many sets) as well as a stone warrior and Golden Ninja LLoyd.I bought this earlier in the year in the sale for about £10 which I think was a very good price and very good value for money. When built, the dragon is bigger than expected from the size of the box. It is also really poseable and looks very cool swooping and landing in different positions. It has a stud shooter in its mouth that you squeeze his jaws to fire. Of course those little studs go everywhere and seem to travel miles but there are quite a few spares and they are bright green so do turn up eventually!Building the set was straightforward. As always with official Lego sets, the instruction booklet was incredibly clear and each step was carefully shown. I think even beginner builders would have no trouble building this model. (We are seasoned lego builders so it took my son about 30 minutes including getting distracted and playing with the figures). It is great fun to play with once built too and stays together well with no bits unexpectedly dropping off even during epic battles.A perfect set for Lego Ninjago fans but also just looks cool as a toy dragon.

The box was a little damaged but since it is a 2019 set that's reasonable other than that the actual lego set was perfect, it came with all the pieces, all stickers and no loose joints.

Very good set, my son enjoys it a lot. Not too easy for a 5 year-old, therefore keeps them interested, engaged and occupied for longer than a moment.

Lego always are good but I think will be bigger box

Bought as a gift for my nephew he loved it:) was straight in the box to build and play. Had a bargain price to.

As always Lego is excellent. Lovely product I bought for a friends son, the box was a little battered upon delivery but nothing I couldn't fix. My own son is Lego mad so he would also have liked this dragon.

Loved: everything; only the prices slightly painful. Boy (6) completes his build in a couple of blissful hours then immediately starts counting the days until his birthday and his next Lego present. Love the instruction manuals! So easy for him to follow. Only wish they took longer to build.

Nephew was delighted with his 5th birthday present. He had sone assistance putting it together from eager parents. This was a food price on Amazon, cheaper than local supermarket and prime delivery too.
