Dragon Totem Stainless Steel Practice Butterfly Knife Trainer and Comb Knife Trainer (Black)

This balisong comb is very nice. It has a perfect size and weight for carrying around, and the width between the teeth of the comb is sufficiently small to be useful as a comb. The pivots are adjustable and very smooth. The knife has a very heavy rear bias which makes tricks and rollovers very easy. Very good flipper especially for that really cheap price. This was such a great product and I would definitely order this again. It’s quality made and I’m definitely satisfied.

Overall functions well, and is balanced nicely. Only two things I would watch out for are: -the teeth aren’t rounded after being machined, and can be a bit sharp. -the screws come loose relatively easily. It’s not a big issue unless you repeatedly drop it on hard surfaces (as long as it’s tightened properly), and it comes with the appropriate tool to do so.

The small Torx wrench that came with it came in handy for adjusting the tightness of both this balisong as well as a much nicer balisong I purchased recently. It feels durable and the dragon design looks very good. The latch has been consistently effective as well. I feel very comfortable practicing tricks with this and I'd highly recommend it to anyone new to learning balisong tricks.

If you're the type of person that wants a cool training butterfly with some utility, this butterfly comb is the way to go. I wanted to wait a bit to write a review after getting it so that I could tell how sturdy it was and if it would loosen up a bit so that it is easier to flip and spin. I'm a bit of a novice at that, but it seems to do the trick quite well and, thankfully, it comes with a tool and extra screws for repairs and customization. The comb can be a bit uncomfortable to use at times, so gentle application is advised. If the teeth were slimmer, it might make a very good comb in that regard, but for the price and the aesthetic, it's a pretty good price regardless. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a practice butterfly with some extra style points.

A fairly decent balisong, but after three months the screws began to wear out and I had to start carrying the wrench with me so I could tighten the screw every two minutes. The comb itself is very rough on the hair. Good for starting out, but pay more for your next one.

I bought this butterfly knife-styled comb because I figured I can have some fun practicing how to twirl a butterfly knife for fun, minus the danger of stabbing myself with an actual knife. When I first held the product in my hand, the first thing I noticed was how it had some real weight on it. It doesn't feel like it's made using some cheap, low-quality material that would deform the body, or chip the black color right away. The dragon design on the handle compliments the black theme of the product very well. I would recommend this product to people who want to have some fun with a butterfly knife without the risk of hurting yourself or somebody. I would say that this product is well worth it.

Cheap and it does work but I would definitely need to get a better one if I only have this balisong. Definitely great for starters who can’t decide if they want a good balisong or is not sure if you’ll stick to this hobby

The product itself is good, fun to toy with, but the small parts, especially the screws, aren’t very durable. The screw’s grooves are so small that applying too much pressure actually breaks the teeth, making them hard to screw in and out. There are two replacement screws available though, which is nice.

More novelty than practical but not at all bad, had it a few hours and had to tighten it up, the comb is a little sharp but more for short beards than head hair, if you want to practice get an expensive one from a branded shop £50-60 for real starters this again is just fun.

review from first purchase: The overall impression is very nice! I've had it for a few hours now, and I can safely say it'll last quite long! It's smaller compared to my friends' versions, and a little heavier. But the weight is well distributed across the entire thing with a sturdy design! Handles are nice and comb works well, the joints are well made and can be tightened or loosened. Very good product overall comes with vinyl pouch with a belt clip. Very good product overall with no complaints! Worth the money! Review from second purchase: I got this after breaking the first one (I never tightened the joints and left them loose, but eventually they got too loose and I swung way too hard!) Product is still pretty much the same! Though first of all, it came with very tight joints, but no problem as yu can loosen them with ease. I made the mistake of stripping the screw, so don't do that. The weight is heavier than most practice balisong's especially in the handles, but once you hold this thing you'll realize that's what makes it great! Solid and smooth swings to it, and it works just the same as the last time other than the clip needing a little more precision! Excellent product, 5/5!
