The easy-to-lift liner has a molded Figure grip that makes lifting the liner for planting or switching plants simple. The signature reservoir supplies water to your blooming plants & foliage as needed, extending time between watering. Users can easily Monitor their water reservoir level with the planter's water level indicator, which shows when the reservoir needs to be refilled, taking the guesswork out of plant care. Also included with this planter is Lechuza pon, a specially formulated plant substrate which separates your potting soil from the reservoir, aerates the roots, provides your plants with nutrition & helps regulate water supplied to your plant.

Review: Great Planter - Really like this planter. It's already kept my Meyer Lemon watered through a vacation that included several 90 degree days. The planter consists of two parts, the inner part is the actual planter, and the outer part is basically a decorative box that holds the planter. At first it is a little intimidating to put together, but the directions are clear and it is easier than it first seems. There's a false bottom that separates the soil from the water reservoir and a corner tube that holds a "bobbin" that shows the water level. This package includes just enough pon (a light gravel-like substance) to cover the bottom. You have to provide your own potting mix.There's a removable drain plug in each part--you remove it if the pot's going to be outside so that excess rain water can drain off.
Review: The best is just good enough - There's nothing negative I can say about the looks and functionality: The Lechuza design is beautiful in its simplicity and the self watering system is a stroke of a genius. A joy to put it together and get it going. I did read the instruction and watched the video a couple of times to really understand how it works and encourage everybody to do the same. Before ordering. Because it's the operator and not the machine that I messed up my first assembly of the water supplier, even though the instructions with drawings are very clear about this. My planters are outside on my deck, they can be used inside as well. I like to grow edibles. Have peppers in the "balconeras", low growing rosemary and thyme in the "cantos". Annuals and perennials. I am very happy with my purchases and highly recommend the Lechuza.

**Q: How big is the planter?**
A: The Lechuza CANTO Color Tower has a rough stone texture. The outside dimensions are 22 inches tall x 11.8 inches wide x 11.8 inches long. Inside dimensions are 7.9 inches planting depth x 9.8 inches wide x 9.8 inches long.
Water reservoir is 1 US liquid gallon. This planter comes with the signature Lechuza self-watering system.

**Q: Is this supposed to come with Pon, the light gravel substrate that wicks moisture  to the soil? The planter I received did not come with it.**
A: The Cube 14 does not come with PON. This planter works off of the wick in a pick system. Please let me know if you have any questions.

**Q: What are the interior dimensions of this pot?**
A: The interior planting dimensions are 9.8 x 9.8 inches. Planting depth is 7.9 inches.
The reservoir holds approximately 1 gallon of water.

**Q: Does this look like stone/concrete or does it look like gray colored plastic?**
A: The Lechuza 13700 Canto is a light weight, durable planter with a realistic rough textured stone finish. 
The water reservoir extends the time between watering.

Really like this planter. It's already kept my Meyer Lemon watered through a vacation that included several 90 degree days. A joy to put it together and get it going. I did read the instruction and watched the video a couple of times to really understand how it works and encourage everybody to do the same. Before ordering. Because it's the operator and not the machine that I messed up my first assembly of the water supplier, even though the instructions with drawings are very clear about this. ordered both the 30 cube and the 30 tall Lechuza planters in both Stone Grey and Black. Liked the design of both but didn't care for the Stone Grey color which does NOT match the photo online. Wishing the 30 cube Black was in stock!!!!!!
