This clip design is definitely better than other belts I've had like this. The other had 2 holes inside the clip that start slipping of the little plastic knobs and I would have to click back in and they start wearing out. So far this clip has zero problems and appears will last much longer because its not really on little plastic knobs to hold the clip in place. The belt is a little wider. At first I figured it would make zero difference but I now prefer this wider belt. If you want to clip something to the belt this wider belt is much better. If you have belt loops that are very small it might not fit easy (since it is not rigid I can't imagine you couldn't get it through any size loop). It fits in all my jeans and shorts very nicely and feels better to me.

Belt was not as well made as similar belt bought earlier through Amazon. The buckle was hard to open and close and the nylon belt was very slick. Adequate but not great.

When I went shopping for a web belt with military style buckle, I had trouble finding one in retail outlets. I found one only with a Nike logo on the buckle. I don't patronize Nike and it was expensive. I got these THREE belts for less than half price of what Nike wanted for theirs. They work great.

After some time (1 month) the plastic buckle get loose and doesn't hold the belt anymore whereas I haven't shortened the belt. So this set become useless after light use. I definitely don't recommend this set for police, security guards, firefighters, electricians, utility workers and electricians as mentioned in the description. It could really become a safety hazard.

The fastener that holds the belt to the buckle doesn't hold firmly enough so it keeps falling apart.

Yes, I had my doubts about the plastic belt buckle holding the strain of a tightly cinched belt day after day. Well, over a year later, no problems whatsoever. They come in extra long lengths, so some of you may have to cut them down to fit. I use a cigar lighter but whatever you use to burn the edges in after the cut, do so very lightly as the material may tend to unravel and curl back. Best thing is to get a hot wire device made for this purpose.
