It would be outstanding for use during a business meeting or a dressy night out (if you found the need to use it then), and works well for daily use too. It has a typical price for units in this 3000mAh capacity range and seems well constructed. At 4 inches long by 2.25 inches wide and only 1/4 of an inch thick, and just weighing 2.7 ounces, this backup battery is an easy carry in your jacket pocket, purse, pants pocket or back-pack without any worry. I like its design very much.This external battery comes with a micro USB cable, but performance when using this cable was sluggish. Instead, we found that using the cables that came with our devices had better charging rates, almost twice as fast, and would recommend that you do this too. We carry those with us anyway when on the go, so it is just natural.My son and I successfully tested the battery using multiple devices, as summarized below.Packaging was nicely minimal - a simple box with the unit, cable and instructions inside - and it was easy to open. If you would like to see pictures I took of this battery, please navigate to the battery pack's main sales page, scroll down to where the "Most Helpful Customer Reviews" section starts, and look to the right of that area for the "Product Images From Customers" section.Upon receiving the battery, we plugged the unit into our Samsung S3's wall adapter and two of three blue LED lights came on, signifying it was shipped with about 60% of a charge, and it took a couple hours for charging to complete. One thing to note is that this unit was shipped with a User Manual that has Chinese text on one side and fairly well translated English text on the other. The User Manual was actually readable and useful, and that was nice to see, even though the Warranty Card inside the User Manual was the only thing left not translated into English.Operating this battery was easy -- once charged, just plug it in to your device and let it work. It comes with one short micro-USB cable so you have to use your own lightning cable if trying to charge an Apple device. As noted, when we tried to charge our devices with the supplied micro-USB cable, the charging experience was sluggish... about 1/4% per minute... which was about 50% slower than the 1/2% per minute rate we got with our own cables, so we stayed with using our own cables.We had no issues at all with connectivity; once connected and charging a device, the blue LED lights comes on to let you know that charging is proceeding and to signify how much juice is left in the battery. At 3000mAh, this battery is good for a quick boost (like during a meeting or dinner) but not for multiple charging use without recharging. It is just right to help out in emergencies, if not overly long in duration.The Amazon sales page notes that Lomui provides a "30 days money back and 12 months worry-free product guarantee", but since the User Manual's Warranty card page was still only in Chinese I can't read about the process needed to be followed if an issue came about. If such an issue arises before that period expires I will return here to update the review and let you know what the issue was and how resolution was handled. I did receive this unit gratis from the manufacturer and have put it through the paces to objectively find out how well it performed. My statements here reflect that testing.Affordable, very elegant & stylish, both lightweight & portable, and this power bank did the job as described by the manufacturer.
