I normally wear an 8 in gloves and could not even begin to get my hand in the XL, labeled 8.5. These are gorgeous -- but seriously small. There is no vent or notch in the opening, which makes it all the more difficult to get on. I ordered two pairs of MATSU gloves, both in XL. I also ordered style 9229 MATSU Casual Women Winter Warm Leather Gloves M9229 (XL, Black-Non TouchScreen). The others have a notch in the opening and are much easier to get on and off. They're lined with a thin bit warm layer of a kind of microfiber faux fur, which is very soft and luxurious. The detailing on the side of each glove is subtle and very attractive.I did go up a size -- I normally wear a medium (7.5) glove, and based on other reviews I ordered the large, which is marked inside the glove as an 8. They fit perfectly.
