But don't have way to test as I don't have a way to test it currently. I got this for my sister so she can play with her N64 and it work for that. **Q: Would it work on a dvr for cctv with a vga output?** A: It should if the sRGB signal (vga) has been converted to digital audio video from within your cctv, or through an inline-connected converter going into the input jacks of your dvr. This adapter is merely an interface that passes the signal as is without any conversion whatsoever. **Q: Do i need to do anything special for my pc to output an s-video signal through its vga port via this cable?** A: I not sure.
