Which is it and is there on option for rubbed bronze?** A: It will work with Black or Bronze. Mine (2) were installed using my previous 24" Bronze down rod and ceiling cap because I needed a longer rod for my higher ceilings. It looks great, no color difference is detectable on either one and they are not in a dark area. These were more complicated to install than a standard fan, because the remote sensor is external and so the wiring is different. Also, the Edison lamps that were recommended to purchase with the fan are too big at 5.5 inches, so I had to return them and get some smaller ones. That's the negative. But once installed, the lights are bright, the fan is incredibly quiet, and for the small blades (I got the 34-inch version of this fan), they move quite a bit of air. I just wanted to circulate some air, not create a hurricane in the room, and for that, these more than fit the bill. If you want something that really moves a lot of air, get a 60-inch fan. These look great, don't make any noise at all (can't stress how quiet these fans are, and move enough air to make the room comfortable, even at the lowest setting. Well worth what I paid and I'm very satisfied.
