Yes, it is sweet!I don't think that is a bad thing when you're dieting and not eating sugar.now I don't need a separate BCAA product. I was using an expensive protein powder before "isopure" which is low on carbs and this is low enough in carbs that I don't mind.On a separate note for the people at Scivation - there may be some sort of labeling problem. I ordered the Salted Caramel powder 5 pounds, and the sticker on the top of the tub clearly says "salted caramel" but the tub graphics definitely say Vanilla Ice Cream. Its super good though, you just might want to check the labels.Update: Still Loving this product. Recently I tried an Optimum Nutrition Chocolate shake. and compared to this Xtend protein, that stuff was awful. Comparatively this Xtend stuff, when mixed with just water tastes very creamy. As opposed with the optimum nutrition stuff that just tastes like watery chocolate.Update: I'm a guy that likes caramel, but in my opinion the vanilla ice cream is much better than the caramel.

I have a scoop every morning mixed in iced coffee. It keeps me full until lunch. Since it's only about 110 calories, it's a great way to start the day off right and has helped me lose almost 25lbs over the past 14 weeks (eating a healthier lower calorie variety of foods but not actually exercising like I should)I will continue to utilize Xtend Protein for my morning routine even after my weight-loss goals are met since it's a convenient way to start my day!The only "issue" is that the scoop tends to move during shipping so I just keep the scoop when the container is empty so I don't have to dig around for it in the new one. Eventually I find the new scoop :)

I have used this for awhile now, and can say that most of these reviews are correct. If you use less than 8 oz of milk or water the sweetness of this is pretty nasty.However I have found that over 8 oz and with some heavy cream its great. It dissolves great in water, I have some trouble dissolving it in milk. I personally don't drink coffee, but have tried it heated up and haven't found a heating technique I like.I alternate between a matcha latte and chai latte every morning and I love this protein powder for that. It's cheap, dissolves great, and is low carb. I mix about 10 oz of coconut milk with about a tablespoon matcha or chai and add about 1-2 tablespoons of heavy cream and whisk it with a milk frother and it's lovely.

This Isolate is competitively priced with MusclePharm Whey Concentrates and Isolates, honestly with either it comes down to taste and I love both. Musclepharm I really liked for it's sweetness but Xtend tastes sweeter. It's noticeably sweeter and I like it in case I get really bored with what I regularly eat, but I can't say there's much other difference when it comes to that. I don't crave anything sweet like candy, just fruits, fruits spreads and honey. I recommend this and MusclePharm, I'm a lot more favorable towards MusclePharm because I have taken it more months, and it's taste is mellow but satisfying enough but this is worth keeping around. I'm not crazy about having sweet things either, I like to eat healthyish.

Fantastic tasting protein shake! Absolutely love the salted caramel flavor, some reviews stated it was too sweet I found it to be the perfect amount of sweetness. But if it is to sweet for some may I suggest they add a pinch of salt as this would remedy their taste. As I do when ever a chocolate flavor is lacking I add a smidge of Cacao/Cocoa powder. Same with a vanilla protein flavor, add some vanilla extract or even a dash of nutmeg is delish. Or go really wild and add pumpkin spice to your vanilla shake it's fantastic ;)

This is the worst tasting protein I have ever purchased. It tasted like Stevia that had gone bad and nothing else. In addition, it gave me gastrointestinal distress like I have never experienced before. It woke me up all night last night every 30 minutes, and I am completely depleted today as a result. I could have had a colonoscopy this morning I was so clean. But hey, if you are looking for a laxative and protein protein that will also taste like pennies, this is the product for you!

Do you like sweet drinks? If yes, this drink is not for you. It's sweet but it's the disgusting kind of a sweet. It has a heavy chemically taste which I can only assume is their best attempt at a caramel flavor.Do you dislike sweet things? Well guess what, it's sweet! Sickening sweet.I bought this for $25+tax on sale and I'm going to throw away the entire tub after 2 tries without a second thought. $25 isn't worth my mental health of chugging something so disgustingly bad down.

I feel that this protein powder is just as good or better in flavor to the Halo Caramel Ice-cream. The fact that it comes with a good portion of protein per calories is forgiving when you want to double scoop the protein. I like the texture of the protein and since I am lactose intolerant, I mix it with almond milk to create a yummy smoothie. I like this powder and will continue to buy more, perhaps in other flavors as well. Top quality!
