I would hate to be without Campbell’s condensed chicken broth. Other brands’ flavorless, homeopathically dilute chicken stock just don’t cut it.NOTE: Do not discard, skim off, or otherwise ignore the chicken fat that floats in it, because the fat contains a lot of flavors that aren’t in the water-based part of the broth. I can't find this soup in any stores nearby. Where did it go? Glad Amazon has it available. It's my go to for a fast lunch! Great taste!

Campbell's Chicken Vegetable soup is as close as you can get to product by the same name that Mom served up in the 1960s and 1970s. The difference is in the pasta - in the good old days the pasta was in the form of flat strips; today's product has small pasta shells. Other than that, this is essentially the same incredibly delicious soup you remember as a kid.Why this soup is nearly impossible to find on grocers' shelves is hard to fathom, especially so in Campbell's headquarters state of New Jersey. We were very pleased to find it here on Amazon, and we received a nice plastic-wrapped 12-pack case that was carefully packed in a box with air-filled spacers, shipped fast, and arrived without any damage whatsoever. The "Best By" date was a year and seven months away, and there's no way those dozen cans will last anywhere close to then in this house.So, treat yourself and your family to this delicious soup that brings back so many happy memories. You're guaranteed to love the vegetable stock, blend of vegetables, pasta and small cubes of chicken. Try it with some Goldfish or Cheez-Its thrown into your bowl for some extra flavor!

Is good, but better if you add it to a can of Chicken Noodle soup.Good price,though.

When ever you prepare a sandwich it's always better with a bowl of cambels

I grew up with Campbells soup when they had even more of a variety. I also recall a soup made up of good broth, meats and vegetables. The broth in this gumbo tastes generic but spiced nicely. It has some meat however it is grossly lacking in vegetables. I also recall okra being evident and I couldn’t find any. It does have one thing and a lot of it, thats rice…a whole lot of rice. Its ok but it’s seriously lacking from what I remember as a kid. Ok but not impressed.

This chicken noodle soup has really improved! Not as salty and lot of noodles.
