Great flash light
I use the bigger flashlight at my job, those in my opinion are the best flashlight. My job is pretty physically demanding and the light is awesomely durable.I took a chance with this smaller one and it hasn't disappointed. Battery life could be better but the size and versatility make it a very stable product.Worth the money

Lasted 3 years
I’m writing this review 3 years later. This flashlight was very useful and served its purpose. I used it every night for 3 years at work through various weather conditions. Quite bright and rechargeable. It is now no longer recharging, possibly because I’ve gotten it wet a lot. Can’t complain that for what the price is it lasted me 3 years. Debating buying this again because I liked it so much!

The Good and the Bad
In GeneralFormally called NSTI320, but also referred to as USB-320 on the body. It is a small (4.5” long by 1” at the lens and drops down to 3/4” at the back two thirds), compact, and solid flashlight. It only has one brightness (320 lumen) lit by a tail switch either momentarily, or fully on/off.The GoodBecause it’s small, it is light (about 3 ounces), and because it’s short, it’s easy to store and remains inconspicuous. It is rechargeable from the outside using a USB-C port accessed via a metal sleeve that unscrews and slides back (instead of some rubber plug that always breaks or a battery you have to remove in order to charge). The charger is internal to the flashlight itself, not part of the battery, and includes a red/green charge indicator on the body. It has a bi-directional clip that attaches more deeply (about 1 3/8”) with the lens facing down (in your pocket or on your belt), and more shallowly (about 3/4”) facing forward (on your cap). I also like that the clip is securely held on by the screw-on rear cap (used to access the battery), rather than a clip-on clip. It is all aluminum and waterproof (IP-X7). While many will require a more powerful light, I actually find the 320 lumen to be quite bright; almost too bright. It displays a very bright center circle, and a dimmer much wider outer circle of brightness, and throws quite far (over 50 feet). The BadI get the feeling this flashlight is either becoming obsolete, or already is, despite using the more contemporary USB-C connector (hopefully I am wrong). The flashlight uses a proprietary Nightstick battery 320-BATT (ASIN: B07VF966SY). Checking further, the battery’s cell is actually an ICR-14/50 (Lithium Ion Cobalt 14mm x 50mm) battery that has been modified so that the internal charger can make contact to both the battery’s anode (positive) and cathode (negative) from the top (the charger has a positive center prong surrounded by a negative ring; the battery has a insulated negative ring, and a hole to the battery's positive side). When the USB cable is attached to charge, the tail switch does not work; when the USB cable is removed, the charger’s cathode ring is disabled, and the tail switch grounds the light via the inside of the body. You can buy a replacement battery on Amazon for about $20 (circa 2023). You can also find the cell on Amazon for about $9 each in packs of four (ICR-14500), but you would of course then have to modify them to work with the charger. This is all done well, but I do not like being locked into a proprietary battery that I can be overcharged for because there are no other options (assuming I can even get the battery). I do not know how long this battery will last, or how long it will remain available, but I don’t care for the fact that sooner or later, the flashlight could be rendered useless because of this. Other minor issues: The momentary is a bit awkward to press with the thumb. I do not know if this is due to the shortness of the flashlight in my hand, or because the switch is somewhat recessed at the tail (which, ironically, I like as this prevents accidentally turning the light on). However, it isn’t by any means difficult, and it is also quite easy to just use the index finger. Finally, the clip is a bit thin, and the deep side opening is tight on a leather belt. It holds, but I’m concerned it will snap or possibly work its way off. It can of course be easily slid into a nylon belt, a pocket, or clipped onto fabric instead. But if you want to wear this on any decent leather belt, it won’t be the best fit.SummaryI really like this flashlight and would recommend. It is small and easy to carry. It is very bright and easy to use. It is well made at a reasonable price point. I like how the recharging is handled, but I’m concerned about being locked into a proprietary battery. The clip is decent, bidirectional, but thin and not properly spaced for a thicker leather belt.

DO NOT PURCHASE IF RELIABILITY IS NEED BEYOND A YEAR.
You have a decent flashlight for about a year. After that is quickly degrades. Replacing the battery is a waste of time and money. I'm not sure if the electronics inside are oxidizing or what might be the issue. It flickers on an off at the least opertune times. DO NOT PURCHASE IF RELIABILITY ON LIGHT IS CRITICAL IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. I own 3, it's a flaw on each one.
