This small and compact gadget has changed my life! It makes cracking, or as I now call it opening eggs a complete joy. No egg shell in my omelette! Friends go green with envy when they see how simple and effective it is. I can now use the empty eggs shells for soooo many things, e.g. painting on, growing cress, bio fuel, World record breaking vegetable's, and have just stated to build a new house extension! Amazing I have saved literally 0.22 pence in build costs. A product that not only changes the way you open eggs, but also the way you live. 5 stars.

Funny little gadget, saw it on TV so thought I’d give it a try. It came with no instructions but as I’d seen it used on TV that didn’t matter. You just place it on the top your egg lift the top part and let it drop about 3 times until you feel the egg cut.On my first try I gently tapped the egg with it but that didn’t work, then I must have done it too hard as the egg literally exploded! Tried again and again (different days) but just couldn’t get it to cut the top off cleanly. I gave up and used my usual knife. Tried again this weekend as I had different eggs and oh my what a change! The eggs are still large but not as big as my usual ones(happy eggs) So I have worked out that it works much better when the egg whites aren’t too soft. If the whites are a little watery then the will just explode. I’ve now converted to using this device. Maybe a little pricey for a gadget you might use much though.

Sturdy product, fits the eggs well and I am impressed that it does at the very least, depending how hard you drop the top down on the base, it does at least crack the shell enough to get it off intact. No more broken yolks when frying an egg ... not tried with a hard boiled egg but I am overall happy with the product. Great little gadget.

Didn't like this at all, it does not leave a nice clean edge, and makes a mess most times, and it takes several attempts to break the shell! I like many others, sent it back.

🙄 bought this in the hope that it would work you may as well just use a teaspoon and smack the top of the egg my kids love boiled eggs so bought this to make things easier for them waste of money it does the same thing has a teaspoon just brakes the shell

I bought this for my daughter as a stocking filler at Christmas. I had doubts about whether it would work but it is so inexpensive I bought it. It actually does work. It takes the top of your egg of. Easy peasy. My daughter loves it.

Sceptical whether an egg cracker would work and all I can say, 12 eggs later with not a broken yolk is, it works amazingly well.

This works really well. Use the pointed end of the egg. Tap it a couple of times and hey presto! I have not had a broken yolk yet.
