Easiest yarn to work with
This is by far the best yarn I've ever worked with! It's so thick and soft. I first used this a year ago when I was pregnant with my son and since then this is the only yarn I work with. Other baby yarn sheds A LOT which is awful when your baby likes chewing on fabric. This is perfect because it doesn't shed, doesn't stretch out, and doesn't tear or unravel. I just made another baby blanket for my pregnant sister using lilac dove. I used baby lilac on the border and the lilac is a bit different than in the lilac dove but it doesn't make it look weird at all. I typically use an 8 mm hook and do either a single or double crochet (depending on the desired breathability). Single crochet makes it super heavy and warm where double crochet I use when I want to make a blanket to keep in my son's crib. The double crochet makes it so that if the blanket covers his face he can still easily breathe. Also with this being so thick there isn't a way where it can compress enough to get around his neck and strangle him so I feel safe having this in his crib with him. For baby blankets I use three big ball skeins and it makes a blanket roughly 47" x 47" using single crochet. I made a crib blanket using double crochet that is 19" x 22" and used less than one big ball and made a car seat blanket using one big ball. This yarn goes a long way.

This Yarn is Amazingly Soft
I love this yarn. I have never felt a yarn quite like it. It's almost like those lotion kleenex's in texture. Very very soft. So soft. My favorite chenille yet. So, I made two lap blankets with this. I doubled up the yarn and used a hand crochet technique (no hook). It came out beautifully. It's the family's (and furfamily's) favorite blanket to cuddle under while watching tv.

Beware: This Yarn is Addictive!
This has been my go-to yarn for making couch/nap afghans for myself and my grown kids. Bernat blanket yarn is always reliable; so soft and spongey and very easy to work with, making it perfect for beginner crocheters. As an added bonus, it works up at lightning speed compared to worsted weight yarn, thanks to its heavier weight. Unlike some yarns, your blankets can be easily washed and dryed without issues, which makes it perfect for the cat mats I’ve crocheted for my kitties (who love them!). I only buy it from Amazon in case of emergency, though (when I need a specific color and can’t it find locally), since JoAnn sometimes puts it on 50% off and I shop the sales.

Wonderful Yarn!
This Bernat baby yarn is nice and soft. I ordered the vanilla color and it matches the advertised picture. Some other reviews mention lots of knots or joints, but I only found one joining knot in a whole skein. It works great as a baby yarn, and I like that it is machine washable. This yarn is exactly the thickness I was looking for- about as fat around as the shaft of a wooden pencil. 10/10 would recommend!

My favorite bulky yarn, soft hand and easy to work with.
I recently ordered eight 10.5 oz skeins of Sailors Delight at Amazon's incredible add-on price. I plan on knitting a throw blanket and a triangle shawl with it, and I'm just about finished with the shawl right now. Bernat Blanket yarn is the absolute best for blankets, shawls and throws. It is incredibly soft and does not shed or pill, as does other bulky acrylic yarns. The resulting article made from this yarn is similar to a fleece blanket or pullover. It is very warm. The only negatives that I've come across with this particular shade (Sailors Delight) is an inconsistency in the density of the yarn and some fading of the variegated colors. My shawl uses two big balls, and the yarn from the first ball had a solid density and good color saturation. When I attached the second ball to my work and completed a couple of long rolls, I noticed that the yarn grew thinner and less dense, and the color saturation was more faded. Perhaps this particular ball was wound at the end of a manufacturing run, who knows. But because it was noticeably different, I unraveled the rows and changed out the ball for another one. Other than this issue, the yarn is perfect. In case anyone is wondering about how much to order for a simple garter knit triangle shawl (37" x 66"), I've completed a previous shawl using four 5.3 oz balls in Harvest and am finishing up my current project using two 10.5 oz balls in Sailors Delight. Hope this helps.

Wonderful item-a must buy to crochet with!
I have found that I love using bulky yarn like this. Your project gets done so much quicker and it see,s you don't need to purchase as much. This yarn is a bulky type that is very very soft and makes a very thick blanket. I made my granddaughter who is having a baby a white blanket with pink edging with this white yarn. It is a bright white and very pretty. I tend to crochet tight and this bulky yarn was perfect to make a blanket that didn't have loose stitches where little fingers and toes could poke through. I have now bought the silver/white and will be making another one. It is just so soft! Will try to put a pic up soon.

Baby Soft
My best friend was having a baby and I wanted to make him a baby blanket. I saw this yarn and fell in love with it. It is very soft. It’s great for blankets, hats, scarves, purses, bags, slippers, and many other things. The baby loves to feel the yarn and look at all the colors. It’s also very warm so it will keep the baby warm in the winter months. The yarn came in a plastic bag to keep it clean. Anyone that loves to knit or crochet would love this. My only complaint is when I look at it online the color looks like a softer color than the vibrant color it is. It is still a great color and very soft and easy to use yarn. These don’t have to be just for babies. Everyone in my family from 2-81 loves this yarn because of how soft it is.I hope the review helped to answer any questions you may have. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask me and I will do my best to help answer it for you. If you feel that this review did help please click yes. If it didn’t please let me know what I could do better. Thanks :)

Reliable and Durable Yarn for Cozy Creations!
I recently used the Bernat Wool to craft a batch of cozy slippers, and I am delighted with the results! This yarn proved to be an excellent choice for my project. The Bernat Wool is incredibly soft and easy to work with. The texture adds a luxurious feel to the slippers, making them not only warm but also comfortable to wear. The color options are vibrant, and the consistency of the yarn ensured a polished finish for each pair. What impressed me the most was the durability of this yarn. The slippers endure daily wear and tear remarkably well, showing minimal signs of pilling or fraying. I appreciate the high-quality construction of the Bernat Wool, as it gives me confidence that my handmade creations will stand the test of time.Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a novice, this yarn is a reliable choice for various projects. It holds up exceptionally well, making it ideal for items like slippers that require both comfort and resilience.

A very bright and soft baby yarn~
Firstly, shop around, because I made the mistake of buying a more expensive ball of yarn. That said, I was making a blanket for my soon to be newborn niece. This green is bright and fun, and the yarn is super soft. I've made 3 blankets with this yarn. It builds quickly and easily. It's one of best you can use for baby blankets.
