This yarn is easy to work with and is perfect for kitchen items, like potholders, towels, and dish cloths. I made potholder gifts this year and used the solid "Red" and solid "Dark Pine" as borders. The "Mistletoe" colors are lovely and make an appropriately festive design.

a friend of mine had some cotton Christmas yarn I coveted, so I ordered this to knit dishcloths. Package was as described, and I’m knitting and feeling festive.

I made two dishcloths out of this yarn for a friend for a Christmas gift. It was very easy to use and the dishcloths looked very nice in the red, green and white variegated yarn. It took 3 balls to make 2-8” X 8” dishcloths. The balls are only 2 ounces each, so keep that in mind. I had only ordered 2 balls and when I had to order another ball, there was no choice of dye lot, so there was a very slight difference in the red colour. My friend thought they were very pretty, but also very practical, which is what both of us want in our old age!

I don't think I'd realized just how small 2oz is but it's worth the cheap price. This will be used as a trim for a christmas stocking for charity :) It's 100% cotton so you can't expect that it's super soft since that's not what cotton feels like. I think it would be super ideal for a small dish cloth or towel. The yarn is a tiny bit thinner than the usual 4 ply, so I might size down a crochet hook.

I ordered this skein of yarn to make a dishcloth for a family member. It was enough to do a dishcloth plus a little leftover. I actually found a huge ball of it in the stores close by here for under $10 (now that Xmas is over) so I am not sure this one I would order online again but I really enjoy this brand of yarn. I have ordered many other colours that I can't get in store from this line. The quality is great!

Pretty regular quality cotton yarn. One ball will make only one dishcloth. If you make larger dishcloths I wouldn't suggest it. Overall good got exactly what I expected.
