Still it is removable and you slide it along the gunwales, so that's really nice. Oh, there's also smaller clips on the either side of the paddle clip for your fishing rod. Works pretty good, not really anything amazing. It’s a pretty solid piece of plastic, it is not flimsy so it has good strength. It fit my Old Town Vapor 10 with no problems. My paddle snapped into it nicely, it will hold my paddle in place far better than the built in “paddle holder”. I ended up ordering a second one however because I want it installed on the side of my kayak and I had to position it just so to keep the paddle level. I think this should come as a 2 pack for that reason; it would be much more secure.
