Absolutely love this. Got it for our new apartment that for some reason didn't have a lock on the door knob, only the dead bolt. Super secure. Put on a different door knob with lock, but still us this just for extra security. I love it.

Will slow down an intruder
Bought this for my daughter's apartment. We were looking for a way to add another layer of security to her front door. Her landlord would not allow us to make any modifications to the door (ie add an additional deadbolt) so we needed to find something that did not need to be "installed." This jam bar was the best we could come up with. Thankfully she never had a break in so it wasn't put to a true test. But we did have my husband try to push the door in while it was set and it seemed to hold. I think, as long as it was set properly, it would slow down an intruder and give you a few extra minutes to call for help. But it's not going to absolutely prevent someone from entering.

This was ordered for my daughter, who lives in another state. She only received one, when I had purchased the 2 pak. Other than that,it works as it should.
