LOVE (especially for thin hair). Hair pin novel, but worth the time.
Never could have imagined spending $15 for hair pins but you know, stimi checks and why not. So glad I did! I’ve been buying cheaper (but still name brand) hair pins for forever and when they fall out or when I take them out at night and 18 of the 20 wind up on the floor, I don’t even bother picking them up for the most part. My former hair pins were stupid loose or bent to begin with after just one use so they can kick rocks. No need to bend over and search for them when I can sweep em up or just wait for someone to step on them, have them stick to the bottom of their bare feet, and then get annoyed and toss em in the trash can for me ( I do that after one use anyways but I guess I could be a bit more considerate). Stepping on my former hair pins were only 1/20th of a lego incident and have become so commonly accepted across the hardwood and tiles that we all just keep walking and wait for them to fall off organically at their next chosen location. We were running a regular hair pin subway here. No animal cruelty, we are a pet free house, so if one gets swallowed- that’s a you thing. It’s kind of a running joke now that the family gets a laugh at (until we vacuum the carpet and the lights start to flicker) so now I don’t enter the living room unless I’m “pin free”. I have VERY FINE HAIR and hair pins have always been kind of similar to Q Tips to me (one time use and toss em- except I don’t leave used Q Tips on the floor 😉), but these pins r legit. I didn’t even think it was possible to use a hair pin in my freshly washed hair and have it not immediately fall out, but these are the truth. They stay put, during running and shaking and work and everything else, I didn’t have to adjust and shift my messy bun once today. SIDENOTE: When I took my pins out after work, I made it a point to place them back into the cool container they came in and they still maintained the perfect shape. None fell out on their own and some I had to find in my hair bc I’m so customized to pushing pins all the way in, knowing they would start to slide, but these boogers stayed right up in there. SIDENOTE 2: Karma is a B. These hair pins are so heavy duty and have a little bit of weight and the said “cool container” (mentioned above) feels so high quality and strong as hell, it makes you feel like you hit the jackpot. But the container is not comprised of a screw on/latch on top, just one that slips off. So when the tin feels sturdy and you’re excited about the hair pin performance, don’t get too froggy and hold it upside down because, yes, they will dump out and fall everywhere. And they are just so good that you’ll find yourself picking them up off the floor yourself. True story. The fam loved it.

Get these!!
I’ve had these Bobby pins for 6 years now. Yes I forget to write reviews lol. I’d say I still have almost all of them, I haven’t needed to buy new ones all these years so it’s definitely worth it. They don’t lose their strength or become loose over time and the color has lasted really well over the years. I highly recommend!!

Love the grip
I've been buying bobby pins from Sally's beauty supply for years. The grip of those bobby pins use to be amazing. I want to chip a tooth when trying to open one with my teeth (I'm exaggerating a little). This last purchase was so disappointing. They were so loose they would slide off my hair easily. No grip. These are a little pricey, but the grip is wonderful!!! Even after multiple uses. They stay on place. Just what a bobby pin is suppose to do.

THE REAL TEA ON THIS ITEM!
People, here is the real tea on these pins okay. Listen up. You're buying ~400 bobby pins, right? Okay. All these reviews saying they smell like gas are false. The reason why they smell MINORLY like SPRAY PAINT is because they were all painted in the factory. Kk No gas. The only way you would even smell it first of all is if you plunge your nose into the canister.(wtf right?) The individual pin itself is odorless. Another key point, they do chip after a bit, every single bobby pin, no matter where you get it from the paint will wear off. That is just a fact of any item that is constantly being rubbed or clipped or pinned. And I can tell you right now for the price I paid and the amount I got I'm going to be using these a lot and reusing these a lot so I'm not complaining.

Lasted me 3 years
I am in the military and usually have to keep my hair up in a bun. I use a lot of Bobby pins and I even lose some of them. THEY LASTED ME THREE YEARS. I threw some away/ lost some cause I either was on the field, going overseas and even moving homes. It’s worth the money if you lose them often.

Definitely strong
These really hold my hair without pulling it out when I remove them. The container keeps them from falling all over my drawers.
