These are a replacement for my Northern Californias red woods area plate/ bowel (with a high rim). These are high quality and out of the gate I know I have to take care of them like no other dish- and I don’t mind! I will have the personal preference to keep them away from water and use oil to clean! I had a little food left over and I wet it down with oil to clean- and it was removed! I love the bigger size and I use these everyday. Also, I put small dishes on it with food and that is my meal! The wood grain is top notch and the patterns are as advertised and I feel special with them! I also want to use them while camping. I found the value for the money is right on and I would buy again even if the price doubles!

Since we have no dishwasher in our RV, hand washing wooden dishes isn't a problem and I've always loved the aesthetic of them. Hence--a good excuse to buy them! I bought a bunch from Crate & Barrel, but dropped one at home when initially washing them & broke one. When I saw these, I decided that--for the money--I'd buy some in case I dropped others. These are MUCH nicer than the C&B wooden plates (and cheaper, too)! The wood grain is better, the finish is better, and they stack and store better. I think they are a little lighter weight, which may mean they may break easier when dropped, but I already knew that was a risk (and I don't know for certain it's true anyway). They are perfect for RV use as they're lightweight. I don't yet know how long they'll last, but so far, so good!

We love them! There’s nothing like putting your food on natural wood. They’re quality, light weight yet not flimsy at all. The color is stunning. I did as directed…washed and then oiled. I probably won’t oil every use but definitely once a week. I bought the bowls as well, setting of four. It’s just my husband and I most of the time, but I’ll get another set for when the kids come. Definitely beautiful!

Way better than expected tbh!! Love these! Like em so much, ordered some bowls too!! Would've bought sooner had I known how nice. Perfect for the RV!! I'd give them 5*s except 1 of the plates seems to have scratched the coating/surface/stain...not sure what to call it.

Wood quality is good. One piece solid. Nice texture however The “plate” is very shallow the “edge” is almost non-existent So if u have any food with sauce… not a good idea

Nice plates, thick and sturdy while lightweight. Great for barbecues and camping.

I returned them because the plate felt very extremely light, perhaps that's how this wood is? Never the less, it seemed very nice and well made
