Comfortable and High Quality
I use these with my Home Studio to play and record Guitar & Bass through my PC. The response is great with excellent bass (but not too much). Every frequency can be heard clearly. I honestly don't believe these can be beaten at the price! They also stack up equally well against headphones at twice the price including both pairs of my Sennheisers. They are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly around my ears to help block out external noise. I really feel immersed in what I'm listening to. I don't have very big ears mind but even if I move them off centre of my ears they are still very comfortable. I haven't given noise cancellation a high rating as the headphones don't actually have that feature but due to the over ear design they still manage to block out some of the outside noise, just not a lot. However, I bought them for indoor use so that was not a concern for me at all.

Fits perfectly with glasses
Been using these headphones for a few months now and I've never had any problems with them. I wear glasses all the time and these headphones are the first I've had to not cause any discomfort with glasses. The ear cups are very large and soft, which feels amazing and I can wear these all day without any strain on my ears. The sound quality is great for ordinary use; I mainly use them for watching videos, listening to podcasts and playing video games. There's a lot of bass compared to other headphones but I got used to it very quickly.

Very good value considering the price I paid for the headphone.
The HD9 is a very good headphone for the price, I would describe the HD9 as a good all-rounder regarding sound quality. I would regard it as a bit too bass heavy for music production and mixing/mastering work, I would not recommend it for such, but for monitoring purposes it does a very good job of isolating the sound through the headphones from the environment around you, the earpads are thick and comfortable too. All in all I would recommend the HD9 for monitoring purposes, not for music production/mixing/mastering work.

EARPIECE SNAPPED OFF
Used once. Went to put it in my head and the earpiece snapped off. Not impressed. I’ve a mind to give it a 5 star review just to bump this review to the top of the list. DO NOT BUY. All 5 star reviews are people who reviewed straight away after trying once.

Good for the money
To be honest, I just bought these as a backup pair of headphones in my home studio, so I haven't listened to them that much. I like Presonus products because they usually give good bang for buck and the hd9's are no exception. A bit bass heavy soundwise, but not overly nasal midrange sounding like most closed back studio headphones. A good buy for hi-fi listening but maybe not so much for critical studio work.

Are good to start with but have packed up after a few months and have been painful to return
These started of good they sounded fine for using with a audio interface. They started to crackle even though they were stored in the bag and weren’t used excessively. They have finally given up on one side so now the audio comes out of one side only. Pre Sonous qualitySeems to be a bit hit and miss if you read online so would consider and different brand from now on as I have never had other brands go wrong when it comes to headphones. Also the returns process has been slow and frustrating. I have replaced with another brand and they blown these out of the water in comparison.
