I purchased XL. I am 6', 215 lb, big chested, a bit paunchy, and usually wear XL, sometimes L. This fit just like XL of other jackets in my closet, so no surprises, though I might have opted for L if I had two sizes in front of me. This XL is true and does not run small or short. But I am very pleased. It is pig leather, but seems as thick and durable as cowhide. It is made in China, if that is an issue, but there is no overwhelming smell as some have described, just the normal new leather scent which is pleasing. There is a very modest sheen and color is mostly milk chocolate with a darker spackling, giving it an even but worn appearance, just as depicted in photos, and I love that. It's true that the sleeve pocket has a zipper for appearance only, that adds to a nostalgic look. The cuffs and waist band, stitching, pockets and everything about this jacket is better than I'd expected. It is also warmer than expected. I only received this an hour ago but took a walk in near freezing temp, felt the give and sway, then inspected details, and I have been so pleased that I could not wait longer to review this Flavor jacket. This is a safe bet.

Exactly the jacket I was looking for, and hoped it would be. It is nicer than I expected; way surpassed my expectations. This was a scary purchase... there were no reviews yet, the images make the collar almost look too wide, and I really would like a removable fur color to use sometimes, as stated in the features list, but there is no image to see how it looks... that concerned me. Will a size large really be true to American sizes. The "Free Returns" gave me just enough comfort to go ahead and pull the trigger... wow... so happy that I did... Definitely a Keeper! If you like the collar as wide as shown you can have that, but the collar will also fold down to about half that width and stay put; I love the collar... it acts exactly like I want; stiff enough to stay right where I put it, to include the collar-back sticking up to keep the back of my neck warm. The way the button-on fake fur collar fastens onto the leather collar is perfect; I’ve never seen one fit this precisely and once it’s on, you wouldn’t know that it’s not the permanent collar. I can’t decide which looks better... fur, no fur, fur, no fur.... what to do. I have to say that the fur collar is not a quick-fix like one that goes on and off with snaps, but once it’s on it is a much more custom looking fit. The jacket couldn’t be more spot-on to what a size Large should fit like (I’m 6', 175 lb, wear 36" pants, medium 15 to 15-1/2 shirts with 34 sleeves, and size 42-44 suit/sport jacket depending on the brand), and I always wear a size Large jacket unless it’s intended to be worn over a bunch of other sweaters or other cloths to layer to stay warm (i.e. a big ol' authentic crew bomber jacket), then I go XL, but I’ll always wear this jacket underneath to make sure it’s protected (it’s that gorgeous). The size Large is a true American size Large. Pig skin can be too stiff, but it can also be too thin and flimsy. The skins can also vary from jacket to jacket within the same bunch, but I am happy to report that the jacket i received is just right... soooo soft and supple; it’s a lil' on the suede side as opposed to a smooth leather finish, but I’m still waffling between calling it suede or just a nice fancy smooth leather finish. Either way, I realllly like it. It is definitely the real deal though; this is pigskin with that really nice new leather smell. All the pockets are real, and sized and work correctly, except for the fake zipper pocket on the sleeve... it’s just a zipper; the zipper functions, but there’s no pocket... the pocket is only accessible from the top. Bummer I guess, but I no longer smoke, so I no longer have a need for a sleeve pocket; the pen/pencil slots on top of that sleeve pocket work fine though. The left inside pocket zips with a nylon zipper. I thought it odd at first and worried it’d scratch my phone if I put it there, but now I like it even better with the zipper. With the nylon, it does not scratch, and the thoughtful way it is sewn-in makes it so it doesn’t touch the phone as it slips in and out anyway. So using the zipper makes it impossible for my phone to accidentally fall out, plus the high quality of the zipper makes it function very smoothly so taking my phone out is just as easy as with no zipper. So, the zipper was a good idea, and I appreciate it being there as an extra safety feature for my phone. Looking the jacket over for loose threads and what-not reveals none (someone has already detailed the usual snags and loose threads), but I do notice the way the stitching is done and lil' details like how the zipper fits into it's lil' grove that appears custom-made just for it to sit in, the zippers, buttons, snaps, lining, even the thread all seem a-cut-above. The quality of workmanship is evident all over this jacket, and kudos deserve to be passed along to the seamstresses and cutters who produced this high-quality piece of clothing. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Bought this in preparation for the colder weather, and I'm pretty comfortable with this purchase. It is definitely Pigskin leather, it feels and smells like a fresh football. The inside is soft and warm, with two interior pockets (the left is a zipper pocket and the right is closed with Velcro) with enough room to put your keys or wallet inside. The exterior has five functional pockets, that's right, five! Two front pockets that have a pretty sizable amount of space, with two behind those pockets for you to slide your hands in, and one final pocket on the left arm with spots for pens/pencils/loose licorice (idk, whatever floats your boat). The pocket on the arm is big enough for a pack of smokes, but as I am not a smoker it'll probable be used as a stash for emergency snacks or like a tin of Altoids. There's also a zipper on the side of the arm pocket, but don't be deceived...it's just a zipper. Other features, include the removable hood which is attached to the coat via zippers. Its a good hood for wind, it will most absolutely help out when your out and about when its chilly. Lastly, the overall fit of the jacket was just about right. I'm 5'10 and 200lbs, and the XL was the right choice for me. Definitely go by the size chart if you're unsure, going a size up might be what you want to do if you have the need to bundle up underneath the jacket. I, like a bunch of people, always feel a bit nervous when buying clothes online. However, I'm glad I went outside my comfort zone for this.

Not bad for the price, leather is kind of thin and I had a problem unzipping it. I’m worried about the zipper not lasting too long, otherwise it’s a nice jacket. I’m a 42 chest and a large Is a perfect fit with still some room for a hoodie or sweater. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the zipper.

Color is just like the picture. Got this for my husband so that when we go out he has a nice jacket to wear. He loves it. and that's saying a lot. He's very picky. I got him the size Large. He said it fits perfectly and feels nice on. Nicely made and its light weight and soft. Not thick at all. will keep him warm for sure.

Buying jackets for me online has always been a tremendous challenge because I have a short torso and short arms but a large chest and bicep area because I work out. It's almost as if I need to tailor the jacket to my specific body measurements. I had done this once before and it was a good quality company but the measurements made the jacket look bulky and did not fit well. This jacket has completely made my day. Very stylish and fits properly and is very warm. it is a perfect addition for those cold wintry days here in New Mexico.

Not a bad jacket but a little lesser quality than I expected. Will keep it but not the same quality as the one I am replacing. Leather is thin so probably not super durable.

Exactly as described. It fits just right and looks great. It may be a tad thin for extreme cold climes. You may turn into a popsicle way up in the Canada North but you'll look great! So I bought a thin Hoodie as added warmth. So now this coat is multi seasonal. Fabulos coat.

My husband did not like the insert that served as a scarf and hood...I think it looks great and provides good protection against the cold....Would be good in the fall in cooler weather with out the insert.. Very pliable leather not bulky in nature...Excellent colour.

This Jacket is probably the best I have yet owned. I was searching in the market for months to find a leather jacket with a hoodie, and after much searching this caught my interest, and it did not disappoint. I bought one other Jacket that is more "leathery", and although that one isn't bad, I like this one ALOT more. And finally, I am 6ft male weighing 165-167lbs, and the large jacket fits perfectly.

The jacket fits well and is very comfortable. Lots of pocket space and the hood "liner" removes and replaces easily. However, both zippers (jacket and hood liner) are of poor quality and difficult to engage. It is clear that before long I will need to have these zippers replaced.
