Come to the light
After reviewing other brands and reading way too many reviews which are all over the scale, I ordered three of these lighted nocks. Measure your arrows to obtain the correct size, there are two choices. After a month I finally got around to installing them. Thick glasses require the use of a magnifying visor to see small parts, during the pre-use inspection I noticed one nock was already stress cracked right at the corner of the indexing square cut in the translucent end of the nock. This notch aligns the translucent part to the aluminum body. Sharp corners create stress risers. If they had rounded this indexer it would not do this. Other than that the product is pretty well made, easy to adjust for insertion, turns on and off and hadminor effect on bolt flight. They weigh about 26-27 grains compared to 11 grains for a standard nock.So I called CarbonExpress using the one of two numbers on their packaging, as it's not an Amazon issue. My call was answered after two minutes on hold (not bad for being season) A very friendly and helpful lady listened and corrected the issue by sending out replacement product at once. There was never any question, they stood behind their product in a most gracious manner.......now if we could get them made in the USA....humm?

I'm not sure that I will purchase again.
I learned the hard way just how much difference the nock makes when sighting in. Just the lighted nock made my bolt shoot about 6" low. I learned this on the first deer that I took with these nocks (I got lucky and still hit him). While re-zeroing my bow with the nocks installed, the moon part of one of the nocks broke off on the 3rd shot. They are also difficult to adjust correctly to fit the arrow/bolt. A little to much and you can't push it in the bolt, not quite that much and you pull the nock out when turning the LED off. Very frustrating. It's a clever idea and I think the brightness is adequate. Cost point is nice. They're just more difficult to get set correctly than I though and don't seem to be holding up well. I think I will spend a couple extra dollars next time and try to find some better quality nocks.

Save your money
Bought 6, was super excited as I use Carbon Express bolts. They are bright, and they all went on and off like they were supposed to while shooting at a target. They come on too easily and in the three hunts i did with them I had at least one get turned on in my quiver. They are great in flight, you can see them clear as day and really see where you hit. That's where the good stops. First one exploded when it hit the deer. Second one broke and came out of the bolt. Third one I am not sure as it disappeared after the hit and i couldn't find the bolt because the light wasn't on. Three shots at deer, 100% failure to light, stay intact, and stay lit after hit. Pure garbage product.

Light up great
These work as described. They light up great everytime. They add about 21 grains of weight compared to a standard carbon express nock. Work great with 100 grain field points but I feel accuracy starts to suffer a little with a broadhead. At 40 yards, A 1” or less group vs 2-3” groups with these (with broadheads). Standard half moon nocks and broadheads fly alot better for me so I know what I will hunt with. Maybe I should try a 125 grain broadhead to help the FOC with the weight these add, but don't feel like investing that time this close to the season. Maybe a smaller/lighter fletching would help. I am using 20” piledriver bolts with a piledriver 390 crossbow. YMMV

Not Crossbow Friendly
My original review gave these nocks 5 stars but:After practicing with them over the weekend I had three that were completely destroyed when I went to retrieve them from my block target. I suppose the plastic nock sitting back about an 1/8" from the metal insert couldn't with stand the impact and it blew the plastic into pieces.Might be alright for a lighter poundage young crossbow but definitely not capable of handling anything around 350fps and above. Also:After shooting a deer about an hour before dark I sat watching the nock get dimmer and dimmer.By the time I got down from my stand the nock light was barely visible. Very short battery life!

Not impressed with these at all, on my 2nd pack because the red plastic lenses broke on all of the ones from the first pack after being used 2-3 times. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe I just got a bad batch. On the 2nd pack and 2 of 3 are already broken, 1 broke after only being shot once. I’m not sure if they just can’t handle the FPS of my crossbow (350fps) or what but I won’t be buying this brand again

Used mine with a Barnett Quad Edge Crossbow and 22" Carbon Express Piledriver ArrowsPros:Turned on when they were supposed to, Easy installationCons:Turn on and off way to easily, didn't stay screwed in tightly (even on carbon express arrows), one cracked and broke upon just hitting the foam target, did an experiment between broadheads and nocks to figure which was affecting poor shots the most and it was the lighted nocks. Zero problems with various broadheads and standard half-moon nocks.Overall, just some inconsistent shooting results with these make it not worth the possibility of missing a killshot on a deer. Control what you can control and eliminate moving parts to solid parts.

Bright light, doesn’t fit too snug, light won’t turn off back of the knock broke on first shot
The media could not be loaded. This nock will not turn off I’m pulling it back but it stays lit, I literally opened it and put it in my carbon express bolt, pushed it in and tightened it, I pulled the nock to turn off and besides it not having a secure fit after tightening all the way it will not turn off. I even put the rubber band back and pressed it in the crevice. For the amount of money they charge for these this is unacceptable. The other two work fine. Light is bright but I’m not confident it the fit but we will test it out this weekend. Hopefully the seller can replace this one nock that have gone to waste from defect.Upadate* took my first shot at 40 yards, looked great shot was on point and the light was bright, when I turned off the light the back on the plastic knock broke off, this is horrible quality for an outrage price I’m pissed do not buy these

Great great product
Great great product, wouldn't use any other product when it comes to xbow lighted nocks. Easy to turn on and off, and really like that they trigger once you engage your xbow and let arrow fly. Very bright and find the bolt each and every time. I use excal matrix405 and had clean pass through where bolt stuck in ground 16" after going through deer. Lighted nock retrieved my bolt. Very happy with product

Best choice for Carbon Express Arrow althought you may use them on other arrows because they are shaft ajustable. They are very easy to turn off by hand and dont need any special tool.
