Works Great
I used it to wrap the exhaust on my Diesel heater on the boat. It works really well, seems to adhere to itself, and the fact that they included the clamps to hold it in place is really nice. I can run the heater full blast for hours and be able to bare hand the exhaust so knowing I won't die in a fire is nice. When working with it, wear gloves and when you're done immediately remove and wash the clothes you're wearing. Like any fiberglass product, it will shed fibers that will make you itch. If using indoors wear a respirator. Once it's installed it's pretty stable and you don't need to worry about it. I highly recommend if you're wrapping any hot pipes.

Great value for the money
Great value for a total of 50' fiberglass exhaust wrap. I used one roll on the exhaust on my pickup to help lower the temperature of the passenger side floorboard. What a difference as I wrapped a double layer in one four foot length. Product looks good with no defects in it while wrapping around exhaust pipe. As directed soak in water before use and use the supplier rubber gloves to keep the fiberglass fibers from flying around. Supplied stainless steel bands are a little tricky to use but work good.

Use your own ties
The wrap was well made and looks very good installed. No instructions included and the video on the website says to put the sewn side out but that is not very clear. Only down side are the stainless steel zip ties do not hold as well as I would have liked. I will be ordering more real soon!

Simple enough. Does the job. What more could one ask?
This was used to "patch" a previous wrap job that had come loose on the forward pipe (near the brake pedal) and to wrap the rear pipe again to we hope reduce the heat available to melt boots on this Suzuki Boulevard M90 with custom pipes. Wrap installed easily enough, can't imagine it would be any different with any other wrap. Liked that the roll came with gloves to use. Straps work OK, too, but are difficult to get tight. I'm sure there's a secret, but no instructions were included to assist. Perhaps a special tool is helpful for the straps? Don't know. Managed to make it work with needle nose pliers and sidecuts, but could have been better if we knew exactly what to do.

Inexpensive, worked like it should.
Inexpensive, worked like it should. if you are one of those folks who gets itchy around fiberglass... wear gloves and long sleeves, as quite bit of small loose fibers will come free during the wrap process. half the roll was enough to wrap the old, dented and discolored pipes on my Ironhead (it does have mufflers, drag pipes all the way to the back will require more than just 1/2 a roll). The stainless ties work, but I'll probably end up replacing with stainless safety wire, as I can't seem to get them as secure as I like. Color is as pictured, a bronzish brown and really does look great. Going to use the remainder to wrap the Buell's headers as after 7 years the black from a major hot rod supplier has leached all it's color and turned white. This wrap did not leach any color onto my hands while wrapping... so hoping it will retain it's color. I'd happily recommend to a friend.

Quality product, easy install, noticeable improvement.
I like this a lot better than the glass wrap that you need to soak in water and apply a finish coat to. Easy to work with, appears to be quality material. I used it for my diesel suburban's down pipe post-turbo; it made a significant difference in reducing the amount of heat radiating onto the passenger's floorboard. Use some quality 8-mil or thicker disposable gloves with long wrist covers. Also get the DEI locking tie tool for the metal ties.

Good heat wrap
Good heat wrap. It has kept the temps in the engine bay way down which is great. The heat wrap itself is kind of cheap in the sense that it seems to fall apart easily. The ends would come unraveled really easily leaving long strands everywhere. Otherwise that it looks great and has held up so far.

Good, does work, and is relatively easy to apply.
It performs as advertised. I would recommend however, using a mat or something of the nature to cushion your back if you're applying this to your exhaust pipes. Next, wear gloves. Seriously this stuff digs into your skin. Something to do with the fabric and titanium. So it makes your skin irritated and itchy. Couple the gloves with long sleeves and eye protection. The application looks great though.
