PureMe Cotton Reuseable Unisex, N95 Mask (Black, With Valve, Pack Of 1)

With the winters approaching fast & staying in one of the world's most polluted cities Delhi, I was looking to buy an air mask like I did last year - a 3M N95 mask that cost me well above 300/400 bucks until I landed upon this PureMe reusable air mask on Amazon. One would wonder why would someone write a review about an air mask, but I am literally blown away by the convenience & usefulness of this brilliant product! Kudos to the designer & manufacturer. Listing down its pros here & I literally implore everyone staying in towns & cities to at least spend a meagre 349 bucks to get a "reusable", "washable" & "fully protected" air mask that can easily last for a year or more. Pros:- 1. This is made of pure cotton & feels extremely comfortable upon wearing it (quite unlike the highly uncomfortable 3M mask I bought last year 2. The pack comes with 4 N95 filters which would easily last me the entire winter & longer (pleasantly surprised on finding 4 N95 filters free in this pack :-)) 3. The best part is it's easily washable & re-usable as soon as it gets soiled or wet due to sweat because it dries soon due to the pure cotton material (can easily use while morning walk or jogging outside in open air) 4. It's very easy to wear without the need to pull elastics or strings completely around the head as it has again good quality knots that snugly fits around the ear 5. Last but not the least, even the packaging in which it comes is very premium & useful. It is a zip pouch where one can keep the mask inside when not being used instead of it lying in the open here & there 6. Breathing through this air mask is also very comfortable unlike the 3M mask I used earlier Cons:- 1. Although I could not find any cons in the product as such, but some may find 349 price point a little on the higher side, but trust me the product is absolutely worth it. Do not go for use & throw kind of masks which even though cheaper, are highly uncomfortable & useless after little usage & breathing through them is also difficult This is a gem of a product & I wish people become conscious & aware of this growing menace of pollution. We must do everything possible to make our environment better like planting more trees & using public modes of transport. Until then, PureMe air mask is a must buy just like helmets which we even though do not like to wear, but is highly essential for protection.

Nose top sponches gets removed after nearly 15 washes ( 3 finger tip massage wash after dipping it in savlon hand wash+water(1:10) solution for 5 minutes, with no sqeezing ) as it looks like a 2side tape pasted between sponch and mask. When sponches were in tact it was a good mask to wear, filter looks clean even after the usage of 15days. Now confused that how paste the nose pad sponch. Balance all over built quality and materials used are excellent. If the elastic were loaded allover the head it will be more comfortable, as the ears pains with the elastic lenght given. The aluminium strip at nose top is not enogh strong to fully block the air leakage, as the breathed in dust were slightly visible on nose sides. Compared to the other masks uesd, this was given the best result, until 15th day. The sponches given on both side should be little longer should remain pasted for long period for better result. For this price it should last for atleast 80-100 days with 4 filters to become a value for money product, sadly at 15th day its damage side is started I couldn't even use the second filter.

The build of the mask is really great. Yeah some people might say that its not worth the price but i have not got same mask anywhere in the local market and we search online same masks are being sold for 7-800 rs. The mask came with 4 filters , it has a very nice stiching done at the bottom that covers the whole chin , plus it has a foam and a metal strip at the top part that makes the mask almost air leakage free. This mask is much better than the 3M or the local n95 masks as they dont look good or have very high air leakage. The bands are of also very good quality with adjusters of great quality too . Overall, i can say this mask is the best bang for the buck you can buy at this cost. Period.

This is a decent mask - it feels good, fits reasonably well (though it still has issues for people like me who wear spectacles), and allows for reusability by separating the mask (which can be washed) from the filter (which can be replaced). BUT, this is not a N95 certified mask. I had posted the qs about certification to the seller on Amazon, and when I didn't get a reply here, I emailed them directly and got a response from them. They said that the N95 protection is provided by the filter, not the mask, and PureMe does NOT make the filters themselves and hence cannot certify them. They source the filters from some other vendor, who also DOES NOT get the filters certified. Net-net, this mask looks and feels decent, but it does not provide any guarantee of protection against pollution. So, if you want to be sure about this, you are better off going with a mask which has the requisite certifications.

The mask looks good on me. Design/Worksmanship is great - it doesn't look like a piece of rag. It pads the nose bridge well to prevent air from leaking in through the top (unless you have a nose bridge that is 1 meter high). It covers the underside of my chin as well. The air leakage through the sides is so minimal that the mask balloons outwards when I exhale. Some breathing effort is required to inhale through so many layers, so you need to get used to that. Cycling fast or uphill requires more oxygen, and this mask doesnt let me breathe that extra air nasally, so I have to resort to mouth breathing. So if you want to nose breathe, exert yourself a little less. Cycling through miles and miles of heavily polluted traffic - at the end of the ride, I'm not left with a stuffy/congested nose/throat. So it works for me. It's not overpriced. Will be ordering more. Edit: The upper edge of the mask has a metal strip inside. After you put the mask on, press down on this strip to create a shape similar to the contours of your nose. It will retain this shape until you remove the mask and fold it. Next time you use it, repeat this process. This helps prevent air leaks. Also, tightening the straps might help prevent air leaks.

Pros: 1. Mask fabric is pretty good 2. Comes with 4 P2.5 filter in the pack 3. Elastic Ear strap has a tag to tighten according to your comfort 4. Good and comfortable fit over face 5. Seal around the face is acceptable Cons: 1. Price is on slightly higher side. 2. It's a bit hectic to set the exhalation valve. Not a big deal though. 3. No around the head support. So it is gonna be a problem if used by little kids 4. No adjustable nose bridge. That area has questionable seal which may be an issue for people living in areas like delhi. Honestly At this point I am just nit-picking, just to write something as the cons 😆. You can go for it for lower price. They're good.

This is the best N95 mask I have come across in my search. I was initially reffered to this product by my chest physician waaaaayyyyy before the Covid19 crisis arised, as a protection from the rising pollution situation in India due to my asthma. This mask fits comfortably, has an adjustable metal nosepad adjuster (hidden inside the stitching) for the perfect sealed fit for your nose. It also has a sponge band that seals the gaps between your face n nose ( the sides of your nose). It comes with a stitched chamber where to insert the N95 5 layer carbon filters (also provided with the mask). Material of mask is genuine cotton, hence, comfortable for breathing n does not cause too much sweating. Overall n excellent n worthy product. You should definitely go for it without a second thought!

I had purchased this product hoping to be a good quality product. The only good thing is that the outer packaging is good and eye captivating. But that is only to fool the masses. The reality arises as soon as you open the packet to check the product. It is just an average mediocre mask and NOT AT ALL WORTH Rs 300. Far better renowned brands like 3M and DETTOL MASKS are available for around one-third of the price. The product claimed to have 4 carbon filters. But i received only 2 carbon filters inside the pack. I don't know if it is a packing error or fraud. The mask is also uncomfortable to wear as the "nose holder" is of very poor quality and there are air leakages everywhere. This mask will serve you nothing. Hence, the final verdict from me is DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WORTHLESS MASK. Instead buy the mask from a renowned brand like 3M or DETTOL or some other renowned brands. I REPEAT - DO NOT BUY THIS MASK.
