Shelve unit is well designed
Two of us found the instructions easy to follow with tools suggested. Box number two had a rough ride. It had been taped. While assembling we discovered two of the small pieces missing. We used the one piece in the top. Wish we could give the unit five star rating. It deserve it.

Reliable option for those without access to IKEA
I live in a country without IKEA, so am so grateful that I was able to purchase this item through Amazon. The item arrived in good condition and is the quality that you expect from IKEA

This is a fantastic book case unit
This is a fantastic book case unit. It's very easy to put together, and takes no time at all. It also holds a lot of books. The shelves don't bow and it's a beautiful shelf. I liked the first one so much, I bought another one.

Perfect
Love this. Had it installed (attached to wall between windows) & it looks built in! Could have purchased for less at IKEA, but too heavy & too large for car - great to have it delivered to the door.

So disappointed!
So disappointed! Received by UPS shipping with heavy damage to the two, large Ikea boxes. Today I finally had assistance to open boxes to assemble, but shelving pieces inside are so damaged I cannot justify keeping this unit. Would like to reorder, but have to think about this. (I also ordered the smaller 8 cube Kallax unit, which arrived undamaged and intact.)

Item arrived damage
Two of the side pieces were damaged when they arrived. Box was also damaged. For the price of this item you'd think it would be wrapped better to avoid damage.
