V / H / S [Blu-ray]

In 2012, who knew that the found footage horror hit "V/H/S" would become a long-running, and highly successful franchise! I'm not here to write a specific film review on this, I'm just here to say that I ordered the DVD copy of this film to add to my horror collection and I'm beyond happy to finally have this little gem in my collection!! Sophisticated, creative, believable, and good scary, bloody fun! I can't wait to start collecting the sequels on DVD as well. This is a great product for any collector/horror fan! Get it now before they no longer make prints of this film!

Unfortunately didn’t come with a slipcover, but the picture Amazon used to advertise it didn’t have one either. So, I wasn’t expecting to get one. Still stoked Amazon had it and was able to add it to my collection.

Came on time. Video/picture excellent! Had to let it play a few times so the laser could read, but otherwise ,ok.

You Tube and other social media have standards. What if they didn't? This gives you an idea of what you might see. As for the Dark Web, I would avoid that. If you want to see something strange and gruesome, then watch this instead.

This is one of the top found footage movies out there. The new packaging for Blu-ray’s is super bare bones though getting nothing special but at least this one has art work on the disc unlike a lot of other Blu-ray’s

This film was very different from start to finish. It's not your everyday mainstream movie, it's got some extreme scenes, a lot of little scares and some mysteries. It's an independent..."POV, found footage" horror type of film, not many of us have seen movies like this one before but I tell you what, if your a true horror fan and are constantly on the look out for something exciting and fresh from new minds then this is right for you. Now, I'll admit like the rest of you the execution wasn't the best, but the themes and setting of the film make up for it, "does it deserve a 4 and not a 5 Chris?" Well I don't know I was hesitant on the 4 because I can feel that the directors really did there best and in my opinion it's a 5. "But Chris what about all those people who said it blew and not to waste you money?" Well.. to my fellow Amazonians who rated this below a 4 you are ignorant and don't understand the genre of horror, and I say to you.... Make Something Better...ChrisS/D

I'm not sure why this movie has such bad reviews, I thought it was actually really good. I never saw this movie before I shelled out $20 to just own it on blu ray. Which I admit sometimes doesn't always work out well for me, but this one I loved. The only reason I can think of that can upset people is that it left with cliff hangers. If you do a POV Movies, there isn't really away to end it with all the answers you want. The twists were really cool, the story lines alone could have been their own movies. I know allot of POV Movies always have that "Why the hell are they still holding the camera?" questions we all ask, but this movie no longer have that. They really did a great job on this movie, how people dislike it so much I'd never know.But I'm not disappointed with this one.

While I still find that I enjoy the second VHS the most out of the series there is no denying the originals potency in the genre. Without this gruesome little anthology I'd have never had my eyes open to so many new directors and their work. Really if you are a horror fan this is a must own since it has a little of everything in it. Enjoy in the dark, alone...or perhaps not as alone as you think.
