I initially bought this hoping he will go back to sleep once he looks at the time and eventually wakes up when the alarm goes off at 7 but that didn't work. He still wakes at 6 stays in his room to play quietly or read and when the alarm goes off he can wake the rest of the house up. It has made such a difference to my morning. The battery doesn't last the night so really confused our daughters waking up to no clock! Also, you can't see the length of time the 'sleep' light or the 'wake up' lights stays on for. On occasions our daughters have slept through the wake up light and then thought they should still be asleep when they did wake up! It only stays on for 30mins max. You also can't set how long the play in the room light stays on for. We would have sent this clock back but threw away the packaging.
