Should I order a size up?

YES! Order a size up. I ordered a large and I had to wash it then take it out of the washer and stretch it out so it would fit.

Is the medium a true medium, a tight medium, or a loose medium? And how much does it shrink?

I wear a XL but I bought a XXL and it fits really good. The length is good, the sleeves are a normal fit. I have not washed it yet, but it seems like a thin shirt and it’s made out of %100 cotton, so I’m almost positive that it will shrink for sure. Overall, I like that I purchased this shirt a lot. Hope that helped
