CrispShredded Dried Pork 16oz

This is the best taste dry pork I have ever had!!!

I purchased a few jars of this shredded pork from Dozer Ecommerce LLC as this is my favorite brand of shredded pork. The products arrived on Oct 12. When I opened one jar this week, I noticed a weird smell and taste that is different from what I bought from Costco before. I suspected it was spoiled already. I searched the expiration date and could not find it at the beginning. Only after I peeled the sticker at the bottom of the jar, I saw the expiration date 10/22/2022 as shown in the attached photo. I peeled the stickers on my other jars which have the same 10/22/2022. Apparently, the seller uses the stickers to intentionally hide the expiration date. The shredded pork has a shelf life typically more than a year. However, the jars they sold are clearly not well stored and they still sell them when they have only few days before expiration. If you have not tried this brand of shredded pork before, be careful to check the expiration date. This is a good brand and their shredded pork is always very tasty. Unfortunately, this seller is not good.

Bought one from Costco several month ago and like it. Since Costco no longer carries it after that batch, I am happy to be able to find this item from Amazon. The price is reasonable - only a couple dollars higher than Costco. The item is well packaged, fresh and the expiration date is more than a year away.

And awesome and easy thing to an assortment of different things. My personal favorite is with my ramen. Whenever I don’t want to cook a meat, this is a great substitute which adds a great bit of flavor while only needing a small portion. As for the value, it does seem to be a little pricey, but it lasts quite a while in my house. Definitely a fan tho.

Product is the same as a friend bought locally. However, the sodium content on the label in the listing is a lie. It's actually 350 mg which was on the previous jar I had, not what's on the label pictured here. That's a disappointment since I'm sodium restricted. I'd hoped for the lower content, but will definitely buy again. The Chinese restaurant I've been going to for over 40 years makes this fresh and used it in their egg rolls. Looking forward to trying it in the IP egg roll bowl.

This is a good alternative for me as a regular consumer of pork sung. I find this to be a bit less salty than those I am used to which is a good thing for a change. It is crisp and dry to the throat to me. I switch back and forth with my regular brand every month.

I've been attempting to move away from prepackaged backpacking meals and creating my own. Finding reasonably priced protein is a challenge; but this product works for me!

Double the price of the Costco, the product was aged, and the “floss” was broken up into powder. For such an extravagant markup, I would expect higher quality product.
