Looks Awesome, Fits 03-06 Kawasaki Z1000 as well
I haven't had a chance to ride with it yet but I installed it last night, looks awesome, easy to open but stays firmly shut. The seal that goes over the fuel inlet is on a spring like the original style which is good. Despite it not saying in the description, this part will fit a Z1000 between 03-06. Mine is an 03 and it fit just fine. Had to tighten the bolts alternately to get it down properly but it worked just fine. Very happy, looks awesome, hopefully it seals properly. Edit: Got my bike fixed so I could ride with this and it is awesome, I had no problems with it not sealing, no gas coming out where it shouldn't, easy to open and close, looks awesome. Very happy!

Updated Review... NO vent system!
I just got done installing this fuel cap on my 2015 Ninja ZX6r and it looks amazing! The fit was perfect, the hardware that's included is completely flush with the top of the cap, and even though the metallic green color is slightly different than my stock "Kawi green", it still compliments the bike nicely. The hole where you insert the fuel nozzle while at the gas station is much smaller/tighter than the OEM, but that should work better because it won't allow as much splash-back when you have the pump going full blast and forget to back it off a little as it nears the full mark (yes... I'm speaking from experience). I was a little skeptical of its look/functionality being that it only uses 3 screws and was a different green, but after seeing it on the bike, my doubts quickly dissolved. It is sturdy and feels well designed/built. If you're thinking of ordering this one just know that the removal of the OEM fuel cap on a ZX6r requires a #4 hex and this cap uses a #3, but any self-respecting bike owner should already have these in their garage. Also be aware that there is NO LOCKING MECHANISM on this piece of equipment! If you live in an apartment complex, on a busy city street, or some other area where your bike is open to anyone passing by just know that it will be awfully easy for someone to quickly siphon off your fuel and be gone before you even know what's happening. The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's literally been on my bike for about 5 minutes. Who knows what it'll look like in 6 months. I suppose I can update my review if something takes a turn for the worse. P.S. PLEASE make sure that you have something available to place over the tank opening after you take off the OEM cap! You definitely don't want to accidentally drop a screw, a spring, or a rubber gasket into your gas tank while making the switch, especially if your tank is full of fuel! Update (10 Sept 2019): This thing has NO vent system! As your engine sucks in fuel it creates a negative pressure... this cap has no way of relieving that suction pressure, so when you go to remove it, the sudden rush of air into the tank causes the fuel to splash back out. Unless you want to unscrew your fuel cap every 5-10 minutes while you're out riding in order to relieve the pressure build up, you definitely want to look for another option!!

2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650R
This was literally, plug and play. Note: Does not come with instructions, however. Just keep track of the gaskets on the new unit, as well as any gaskets that come off the old unit, especially as you are pulling it off. (Be careful, not to drop screws or gaskets in the tank) looks awesome and so far no issues.

Mounting screws too long, NO venting capabilities
Cap fits ok, no venting capabilities, mounting screws way too long-had to be cut shorter in order for cap to tighten down, had to remove rubber o ring seal in order for tank to vent. When washing or in rainy weather, seal has to be reinstalled to keep water out of the tank. Appearance is good if you want to take the time and effort to make it work. Was advertised to fit my 2009 zx14, however, without modifications, it would not, therefore, the rating is low. Seems to be constructed fairly well.

Looks good not good
Well where to start. The good it looks good and it's a gas cap and it's better then nothing. The bad it doesn't seal hit a bump pull the tire up for a little wheelie engine break to hard and wouldn't you know gas all over the fuel tank also its advertised for my bike 07 ninja 650r but it has no breather like it should. Not to worry for it wont seal anyway
