Sorel Women's Waterfall Slip 2 Boot

My main concern was warmth! With my old boots, which I thought were fine, my feet would be freezing cold within minutes. With the Sorel boots, my feet are SO toasty warm and stay that way! and I couldn't be happier! Very good looking boot also, and the traction I get with these boots is excellent also, which was my 2nd big concern. I would give it 5 stars but I am not so thrilled with the pull at the top on one side designed to help you pull your boots on. It indeed helps to have this pull! as at first, these boots are a bit hard to get on until you get used to them...but if you pull your pants down over the boot, the pull sticks out a bit and looks a little funny. Not the biggest deal, after all, its winter and who cares what you look like when you are trying to stay warm and dry! I'm just saying that would be the only thing I would change is either make the pull smaller? or just not have it. But otherwise, a really great boot that does its job! Last, I'd say fairly true to size? I am an 8.5 and I ordered a 9 and they fit very well with socks on!

GOOD POINTS: They seem very warm & are waterproof, but I didn't actually test these things. BAD POINTS: They aren't all that comfortable, nor did they look all that great on. Very difficult to get on and off- even with the pull tab. CONCLUSION: These are fine. Sorel is a good brand, but there is a reason these are on the very low-end of pricing for their boots. I'm returning them and continuing my search. Even though the fit is okay when they are on, the effort of taking these on and off is rather ridiculous.

Very well made boot, nice material, nice look, however, even though I'm a size 9, I ordered a 10, but I still was unable to get my foot into the boot, it was way too snug and afraid once I got my foot in would not be able to get it back out. These have to go back, but not because of quality or looks. If you have thick ankles you probably won't be able to get your foot in much past your toes either.

So I spent a great deal of time trying to find the boots I wanted at a good price. I live in an area that can be very cold. I get tired of the cold seeping up through the ground into me feet and then they never get warm, even after going indoors. These are great winter boots they are thick on the bottom which I think helps. They are extremely comfortable. I only have one complaint, they are so small through the calf area I can hardly zip them, so most of the time I just leave them unzipped. Luckily they have a piece of material in-between the zipper area so it is not really a problem. I do not have big calves so I was surprised. I do love them!

I love this boot for it's features: waterproof, cold weather, lining, good looking but be aware that you need to order the next size up. I wear an 8 and ordered a 9 and it fit. The other caution is the top around the calf is very small; I read about this in another review but decided I liked this boot anyway. The top is very narrow when zipped and I cannot completely zip it (I was also hoping to put my pants inside but no way) but figured under pants it would be OK and when using for outdoors they will be covered by gators. Overall, if you are looking for a functional and stylish boot this is a good choice for the price.

I read the reviews before I made the purchase. My ankles and calves are fairly thin so I don't have any trouble getting my feet in the boots. They fit just fine. The shape makes your feet look kinda wide.Though I noticed the problem with the inside of the toe area - there is a glued on insert inside the boots. They are probably about 1 size smaller then the boots, so this creates a gap between the edge of the inserts and the tip of the toe area. This can be very uncomfortable if your toes fit in all the way to the end. Therefore, you might want to get 1/2 size bigger and buy a separate pair of insert for them. I'm considering returning them.

It is snug fit putting the boots on, especially getting your foot through the ankle "elbow". It is even more difficult to pull them off. However, the fit when you have your foot in the boot bed is comfortable. The side zipper is very stiff and it is really snug in the calf. I am keeping them because I love the look, the warmth, and the sole traction. Hey, I live in Minnesota. I need good winter boots!

This boot is very pretty, but it was extremely stiff. I need a boot I can walk in, this won't work for me. It felt like it would take years to break in!
