Great for protecting arms when clearing brush!
I've been clearing endless, dense brush with loppers and a chainsaw (mostly grey dogwood, prickly ash, honeysuckle, common buckthorns). Between branches and prickers, my arms were all scratched up every time I spent the day clearing, until I started using these; no more scratches! Prevents branches and small prickers from scratching (invasive Multiflora rose, wild blackberry/raspberry, prickly ash tree) but larger thorns (buckthorn trees) can still get through if they hit at a 90 degree angle (but less damaging to my skin with these). I've used them for at least 60 hours, the outer material has fuzzied a little but still just as effective. I highly recommend these for protecting your arms from dense brush and prickers. Perfect for what I bought them for but not perfect in a couple other ways I don't care about. I bought the 9-14 inch size, my biceps are 12 inches when flexed, they're definitely tight but not uncomfortable. The thumb hole lining puts too much pressure at the base of my thumb (cutting off circulation), but I always wear work gloves, so now I pull the sleeves up to the top of my arm so the thumb hole sits at my wrist. After the first wash they turned a washed out black/gray but I don't wear them for fashion so it doesn't matter to me. Your arms will definitely sweat in hot weather with these on... but you're working outside in hot weather, so your body is sweating in general.

Better than I expected, great protection!
Better than I expected, nice and thick. A bit rough on the skin but not anything too bad. I use it to cover a bad injury on my arm and works perfectly. Does fit kinda tight which I'm surprised by because I'm a pretty slim guy. Fits me well though, if you're on the larger size definitely get the XL size. For very slim people this one is the perfect size. If at some point in the future these become worn I would definitely buy these again.

Keeps the poison ivy off; Not as long as pictured.
Pulling up poison ivy & other weeds, I often got a rash no matter how long the pair of gloves I used. So I invented a product similar to this one, out of the legs of a worn-out pair of blue jeans. But I eventually decided, someone must have made a better version of the same thing; this is it. It keeps the poison ivy away. A little warm on a hot day, but not as hot as wearing a long-sleeve shirt, and it gives you better protection than a shirt. Resists thorns too. (They claim it is resistant to cutting, but I haven't got into any knife-fights wearing these yet. Nor have a done any blacksmithing, so can't comment on burn protection). They are tight to get on. Also, not as long as in the illustration. The picture shows the sleeves extending mid-way up the upper arm; mine barely reaches my elbow. My guess is the model was very small, like one of Thorin Oakenshield's men. I recommend getting the larger size. Also, I don't like the red skull logo. It makes you look like you're in some weird cult. But all-in-all, a good product. I'm going to order a long pair, & give the first pair I ordered to a short-armed friend.

Protect my arms.
I have bought several pairs of these because sadly I keep losing them. I volunteer and an animal shelter and these are great helping from accidental scratches. Theyโre great in the winter because they provide warmth and not too hot in the summer. The material is soft fit perfectly. You can roll them down or push them up.

Not bite resistant.
purchased while working on a psychiatric lockdown unit. They are very effective against scratches, however, please note they are not bite resistant. While wearing them, I was bitten twice to the skin and all the way through to my muscle. They would be more suited for animal use, a laborer, gardening, etc.

MONKEYDOU Arm Protection Sleeves
As a resident of the grate (intentional spelling) state of Florida, when I'm not being amused by the latest shenanigans of "Florida Man...", I have work to be done around my humble gator, snake, and spider surrounded abode, while trying my best not to be in the headlines as the latest "Florida Man..." story. I have a few stray shrubs that have turned into almost trees in my backyard that required the chainsaw to cut down (don't judge me, its hot down here). At any rate, I bought these sleeves because the last time I tried to cut down some foliage something crawled onto my arm that made me say and almost "do" (pun intended) an expletive on myself. While these do not claim to be bite resistant, potential scrapes from errant branches and sharp tools are a potential. These sleeves allow me to get the work done with less concern for anything more than felling the small trees in the correct direction (nope, no home damage this time), and allowed me to use my hands (gloved of course) to gather and transport the trunk and branches with no damage to my arms. The sleeves worked well, were easy to wear, no stress to my arms, and did not make me feel overheated. After the job was completed, I didn't see any cuts or damage to the sleeves so I'm actually looking forward to my next potentially dangerous back yard tasks. I'm confident these sleeves helped save me a bunch of time (and worry from my wife). I'm very glad of this purchase and may buy another pair as a back up or if my next project requires another set of hands, they can be "sleeved" as well. I give this product, five stars, two thumbs up, and the official Florida Man's seal of approval.

Good Arm Guard
It works well to protect arms as working on cars, specially inside tight areas when dealing with cables, bolts and sharp support plates, which usually get on the way. I used it to change spark plugs on a 03 Mustang, and also to do some gardening work around the house dealing with branches. Arms came out ok this time with no scratches or scrapes. The fabric might take getting used to for some people, and it could get a bit hot to the the skin if wearing on hot weather for long hours. I wore a thing long sleeve shirt under it. Over all; after just couple of uses the material still holding firm without visible rips or damage. I would recommend this product as now. Weโll see if can hold up more abuse in the near future.
