KONGTerrain Retractable Dog Leash, Large, Black, 5m Tape

Kong is a great brand that make quality products. I have purchased other brands in the past that have been compared to this extremely poor. The mechanism is very sturdy and the return spring feels strong. Casing is very robust and the lead itself is very strong. Anti tangle defiantly works well. Would highly recommend. Please ensure you get the right size for weight of your dog/cat.

Good quality as expected from Kong, although they could do to review the lock feature as it has on the odd occasion not locked and doggie runs off quick on a long leash! Don’t trust therefore near roads/crossings, use my other hand to keep hold of the lead further down as well as lock on be careful!

Easy to use, retracts easily and sturdy

We used this lead twice. It's strong and seems a decent design, unless you've got an excited dog on the end who chews the lead a wee bit. She only chewed for a few seconds and it was ripped and unusable. My other leads all handled it fine....not this one though.

No issues with this lead and i feel confident taking my nervous rescue out as long as I don't drop it which would be my fault. Very sturdy. Strong tape. Smooth to use and locks no bother . I do regular inspections of tape and lock to make sure it's still safe to use. Would buy again in future.

Bought this as wanted a retractable lead that I could be confident wouldn’t break if my dog pulls hard, and this is a durable well made product in a cool colour. Dropping stars though as when fully extended it jams which is a real nuisance.

I have this lead for both my 25kg and 37kg boxers, both of them love to chew the lead and although both have fraid after ALOT of chewing they are still just as strong and can cope easily with both of my dogs strengths. Never had an issue with the lock either
