Black Elderberry is excellent at warding off sickness if you take it as soon as you get symptoms. It doesn't hurt to take it daily as a precaution. I also carry elderberry gummies in my purse because they travel better than a tincture. So many people don't cover their mouths when they cough or make their kids stay home from school when they are sick. It's winter time now and I have to be ready. This product is a permanent thing in my life. I'm very sensitive to my environment and I have no time to be sick. This big bottle is expensive but it will last and it is much cheaper than lost productivity because of illness.

As a cold preventative, I am taking once a day. So far, so good. Looks like it will last a long time as one bottle holds 168 servings. Tastes delicious with subtle blueberry-like notes. If I can go an entire season without a cold, then I will say this is a double "yes". ****UPDATE - Wonderful, wonderful. I took it daily and then if I felt the slightest signs of a cold or allergy beginning, I switched to 2X or 3X a day. Had no cold or seasonal allergy for the first time in years. ALSO be aware that this may seem expensive at first glance. But this is about 168 single servings whereas some of the less expensive bottles are teaspoon or tablespoon servings and you will go through them in no time at all and are far more expensive in the long run.

As soon as anyone in our family gets a sniffle I give them this. My kids used to have to take allergy meds almost daily. Their allergies would turn into sinus infections regularly. Now there's just this and our local honey. We are lucky to live near bee keepers that produce both wild flower and echinacea honey. My kids have not had a drop of any sort of allergy medication in over a year. Thank you so much for producing such a wonderful product. One thing I will say is that due to the alcohol it tastes like your taking a shot. I put one dropper full under the tongue and then they swallow a big gulp of water. I am going to try the kids formulated version for them and keep this one for my husband and myself.

This product is extremely good for your health, highly recommended, since it has excellent properties for your immune system & your health in general. It will remain in optimal health conditions...I have been consuming it for a long time and it gives me great results...no colds or flu, it is more that it goes directly to the blood, that is, the assimilation is direct, not like the pills that they have to be dissolved first to be assimilated by your body. Very good product.

This is a great sugar free and keto friendly elderberry. It's very strong, so I always dilute it with a little water to help make it milder in taste. Sometimes I dilute it with some Zevia soda to sweeten it a touch.

I use this on a regular basis and call it my "magic juice". Elderberry REALLY works to knock out colds before they even start if you take it soon enough. However, I didn't catch that I was ordering the one with alcohol, when I usually order the one without. The one without tastes very mild. This one is very strong and ICK. I had to buy another, and they are not cheap.

Great supplement to add to my ginger and turmeric shots.

I was recently introduced to Elderberry syrup for laryngitis. I took one teaspoon in the morning and one at night. In two and a half days, I started to get better after having it for nearly four weeks. (Doctors said there was nothing they could give me. Have had it before about 20 years ago and got an antibiotic which improved it within two days. Now, it appears doctors are reluctant to give out antibiotics unless things are bad.) That leads me to the Extract. First, I thought there was a lot of sugar in the syrup. The extract is less expensive and I had no problem taking a dropper full into my mouth. Not sure everyone can tolerate it. Certainly don't want to test it myself, or anyone else for that matter, but wondered if it would help with Covid-19.
