I got this to use when I am drawing and painting. I do some very detailed drawings, and though I have 3 lamps on my drawing table and I'm in front of a large window, it still wasn't enough DIRECT light. This unit is great. Honestly, this is one of those things, that NOW I wonder how I did without it before!!There are 2 levels of light I use when drawing and painting, BRIGHT and DIM, and I use hand motion to turn the light on and off. That's a real asset to saving battery. I also like that I can swivel the lamp head to point downward at my paper. I can see this will also be an asset when I'm reading in bed at night.LOVE IT. Highly recommended.

I didn't expect a whole lot from thos light given the price. Well I was very very wrong! This light is incredible! It is super bright! I ise it when I go night fishing and it lights up the whole area. The motion sensor to turn it iff and on is very responsive, never having to wave my hand more than once. A full charge will last a long time. I've used it for a couple nights in a row, easily several hours of use, turning it on and off and the battery lasts! And the fact that it is rechargeable just puts it so far above most other lights in this price range. And it is durable, I've dropped it multiple times with no ossues. This is a no brainer, BUY IT!!!

It's cool. I just got through playing with it outside for the first time. It's very dark out right now, the red led is cool. You can see. It ain't great, maybe don't perform surgery with it, but stuff like baiting a hook, looking through a bag, walking through the woods at night to "nature", yeah this'll work. Especially if you've got like other campers around, I'd be using the red led if I was navigating through a bunch of tents at like a boy scout jamboree or like some thing with a bunch of people sleeping in tents. And stuff. The flashlight is BRIGHT. It had a great range. Lit up a dock three houses down like it was day. It's got like two though see. The right button makes a low beam, click it again and it makes a brighter low beam, click it again and it makes a strobe. The left button is the heavy hitter. Bazoonga that's a bright light. Click and hold for red led. Which is like two red led lights that can also strobe red led lights, cosplay people, this thing makes two red led lights about an inch and a half apart. Glowing eyes, glowing glowstone glows, you know the glowth. Glowners. Glowtastical.Glow.

Out of the box it functioned as expected and actually is brighter than i thought it would be. the sensor mode is a nice tough and works well. I will update as i use it more.update; took this on a week long hunting trip in cold weather and it performed well. the only thing it could use is a battery level indicator because when it starts dying it losses a lot of it brightness. overall very happy with the purchase and the battery life/ rechargeable battery is great.

Received today and after a short recharge -30 minutes tested. Found the headstrap nice and wide with soft material. The light itself seems well constructed with silacone buttons and a rubber cover over the charging port. White light very bright an able to light up a fence line around a hundred yards away. Red lights seem a little dim but usable for reading but probably wouldn't try to hike with them. Overall seems like a nice light for work and play outside with the white light. Reading for the red. I'll have to see about longivity of the battery and the light itself.

5 Stars+Works so well it is beyond what I expected in almost every aspect. The amazing thing about this headlight is, it's 500 Lumen is brighter than another 2400 Lumen headlight (with 3 lamps), and the latter is also highly rated, certainly more expensive.Easy and fast charging, light weight to wear on head or arm. I think I will get another one as I use such headlight very often.

I am SUPER impressed with this little, inexpensive headlamp. It is the brightest headlamp I've ever had & is much brighter than most flashlights I've had. It has high, low & blinking/emergency settings, a double little red light setting which I think also can be set to blinking/emergency setting & it also has a "hands free" setting where you can wave your hand in front of the headlamp to turn it off & on. It can accidentally shut off or on if you're walking around trees or such. I actually love this so much I ordered 3 more to give as gifts.

This headlamp is great... the best I’ve ever used... no....but taking the price into account the value is outstanding. If your looking to turn night into day and throw a beam of light a mile away this isn’t for you. It’s bright enough for me on walks and most importantly for me, great for doing mechanical work on vehicles at night. I love mine and I ordered another for my girlfriend since she was always stealing mine.
