Mike doesn’t like it
I tried to clip it on Mike, but he just got annoyed. I tried to explain,”I"ts called a clip on Mike!”? But Mike still said no..

Great for ukulele, not violin
Works great for a cheap pick-up. But... this is NOT intended for the violin, don't let the picture and description fool you. This works great on the peg box of a ukulele. But when clamped on the tuning peg of the violin--because that's the ONLY place it would fit-- it did not pick up the full range and depth of sound. It would probably fit on a cello--but again, I wonder if it could contain the full range and depth of sound of the instrument.

Ay or Nay?
Well, first, I just want to say I wanted this product to work. It came with no instructions, so I took it to my violin shop, and they could not figure out how to affix it to my Classical violin. If you can give me directions on using it and make it work, I will take back this review. Otherwise, I am stuck with an item that I paid for and is not in use.

NOT FOR ACOUSTIC VIOLIN
This is an incorrectly labeled product. It is NOT a pick up for an acoustic violin. The mounting clamp will not fit in the 'F' holes. Check the Andour violin pickup.
