Definitely a thumbs up!
Loved this product! - I had two small chips on the edge of the kitchen sink. I called the company from which we purchased our Quartz countertops from and they wanted $175.00 just to come out to the house, and no guarantee on the work 😳. Needless to say, that sent me to the internet hoping to find a less expensive alternative. I found several places that carried this item AND a quick "how to" video that someone posted/along with their opinion of the product. I then contacted the company and found that besides the clear acrylic for "flat" surfaces, they offer a clear "paste" acrylic also which works great for repairs on a vertical surface. This product can be put on and molded to the area (which would be somewhat impossible with the thinner product for use on horizontal surfaces. For just under $50 bucks (including shipping), I was able to repair both chips, literally in a few minutes and the results were GREAT! Obviously you want to repair a chip asap to prevent it from getting worse; with this product you are able to do just that and have plenty of product left over in case you would need to make an additional repair. I definitely give this product a thumbs up!

Best fix for my granite countertops
This product was very easy to use, came with great instructions, and works in a short amount of time. Be sure to read the instructions before you start. Go easy on the compound, a little goes a long way, try to minimize the amount of compound to the size of the repair needed, and mask completely before applying. Less is more I think. This will save you having to work as hard on sanding and polishing. Tip, there will be a "ridge" at the tape line that will need to be sanded, so again, go lightly on the compound when applying. I love the way my repair came out.

Worked great.
I accidentally chipped the top corner my new Sienna Bourdeaux granite countertop backsplash in two areas while removing old wall tile. These were pretty big flakes about the size of penny and about an 1/8" deep. I should have protected the granite better but didn't. Needless to say I was sick about it.I did some research and found this product and was surprised how great it worked. Once the repaired areas were were sanded, buffed and polished, they were almost impossible to detect. The UV "flashlight" really worked well. I used two quick clamps put together to create a makeshift stand and set it 1/2" from the chip repair area for about 5 minutes. The epoxy set up hard as a rock with no sticky residue. Do not overfill the area too much or you will be sanding forever to get it flush with the existing granite. I did that on the first repair and learned a lesson. If you are somewhat handy I recommend trying this product.

Worked OK, but harder than they make it out to be...
This provided some satisfactory results but was much harder to use than they made it out to be. If you put on even slightly too much, you will have a very difficult time sanding it off without damaging the marble. It requires a lot of manual fine sanding and polishing afterward to not be that visible after you repair the area. You may be better off hiring a marble professional if you have a lot of damage.

Easy Inexpensive Repair
When I did my kitchen renovation in 2010 I put in an under mount sink with granite counter tops. I have chipped the edge around the sink a couple of times. The first time I called the company I bought the counter top from and they charged me $150 to fix a minute chip. This time I ordered the Pro Caliber clear kit and within a half hour the chip was fixed and you can barely tell it was there. It took about 20 minutes and I had no problems other than I may have put just a little too much acrylic in the hole. I did tape down the curing strip bent over the edge because this was an edge repair and not a flat surface. I'm really happy with the result so far.

Low quality
I order this hoping to fill some pits in my granite countertop. It was awful. The acrylic filler was thick and pasty and would not fill the pits. After the curing process it just peeled right up. I really had high hopes this would work and paid the extra money to buy this product. It didn't work at all. I had to clean the pasty stuff even after it was "cured" out of some of the pits. I wish I could get my 50 dollars back.

Oveall a satisfied customer
Purchased product to repair a chip in bathroom marble shower sill edge and also a repair to kitchen granite countertop edge. The marble repair went very well and I can barely see where the repair was made unless I get right up on it.The granite repair didn't go so well. Chip was on an ogee edge and I think that was why the product did not work as well. It was very hard to apply the plastic strip to the ogee edge. The curing time seemed much longer than it was with the marble (I think because more product was applied because I couldn't get the plastic strip flat. Sanding was very difficult with the edge detail and ultimately some of the repair chipped out and some stayed in. Not sure if it looks worse, but it surely doesn't look better.Would hands down recommend product for a flat surface repair or a simple edge, but if you have a complicated edge I would say it is much more difficult to apply this product and get it to work properly.

Fixed my Granite
This kit is exactly what I needed to fix porous holes forming in my granite counter. Easy to do and would order again if I ever need it.
