TAKE ME OFF OF THIS DAMN LIST. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needed a little work, but great fan *by K***. on November 5, 2018* I bought it despite all the reviews about it being loud. Install wasn't bad at all. Instructions were decent at best but got the point across. Wow was I disappointed when I started the little fan up. It was loud! Had a hair dryer type squal with little to no air output with almost a surging type sound like it was struggling to maintain speed. But wait, there's more.... The little black shield that protects the intake side of the squirrel cage was too close to the fan and causing it to be restricted. I pulled the cover back some and amazingly enough, it went virtually silent and airflow picked tremendously. I pulled it back a little more and it got better. Pulled it back to about an inch away from the fan and it didn't help anymore but i am thrilled with it now. Output is decent and fan is super quiet. The thermostat does suck, but that is the manufacturer of the fireplaces problem not really this kit in particular. All in all, happy with it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quiet and efficient *by J***H on July 11, 2023* I looked for this in several places. Amazon was the only retailer that offered the instruction book, had reviews, and answers to my “what is in the package” question. Great buy. Performs well. Installed into a preexisting gas log unit with very little problem ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Noisy Good *by P***T on December 30, 2024* This blower is the only one recommended for my gas fireplace and does fit perfectly. It also works very well moving the heat from stove into the room. BUT I cannot begin to tell you how much noise this blower makes when it is on. It is very loud and continues to whistle as long as blower is engaged. It's really too bad that the company couldn't have developed a great but reasonably quiet blower. They had to have known it had a noise flaw. At this price point I did expect a more smoothly operating blower. Not an easy install so if noise is a sore point with you just beware.
