I bought it despite all the reviews about it being loud. Install wasn't bad at all. Instructions were decent at best but got the point across. Wow was I disappointed when I started the little fan up. It was loud! Had a hair dryer type squal with little to no air output with almost a surging type sound like it was struggling to maintain speed. But wait, there's more.... The little black shield that protects the intake side of the squirrel cage was too close to the fan and causing it to be restricted. I pulled the cover back some and amazingly enough, it went virtually silent and airflow picked tremendously. I pulled it back a little more and it got better. Pulled it back to about an inch away from the fan and it didn't help anymore but i am thrilled with it now. Output is decent and fan is super quiet. The thermostat does suck, but that is the manufacturer of the fireplaces problem not really this kit in particular. All in all, happy with it

This blower is the only one recommended for my gas fireplace and does fit perfectly. It also works very well moving the heat from stove into the room. BUT I cannot begin to tell you how much noise this blower makes when it is on. It is very loud and continues to whistle as long as blower is engaged. It's really too bad that the company couldn't have developed a great but reasonably quiet blower. They had to have known it had a noise flaw. At this price point I did expect a more smoothly operating blower. Not an easy install so if noise is a sore point with you just beware. I have become used to the noise, but if not for this one issue I would have given the product 5 stars.

This product is terrible. After installation we turned on the fireplace and turned the blower on the auto feature and waited for it to turn on. Not only did it not turn on it is very loud.

fast shipping, great price and exact fit. There were reviews that complained about it being noisy so as part of my pre-flight test, I made sure that all the screws were snug and there could be no loose parts to vibrate and then i installed it. Nice and quiet, all you hear is the normal sound of the fan moving the air.

My husband bought me a fireplace and this blower for me for Christmas and it put it together today the blower is blowing but makes a loud noise

I have a Procom fbnsd32rt fireplase purchased this winter the blower did not fit in the mounting bracket slots it was 3/8" to wide but instead of returning it I chose to modify the right side bracket since this blower has been out of stock all winter · now after installing it the temp sensor does not work· it works fine on the manule setting but never turns on when set t auto I took sensor back out and rechecked the wire conections everything was tight butnow I can not return it since I cut the end bracket to make it ·the blower good at moving the heat but Ineed to leave it on all night so lt moves the air when the fireplace cycles on
