These are useful texts to improve reading for adult learners. The first chapter seems rather basic, but after that the stories improve, with more complexity very gradually introduced. Adult learners with limited English seem to have little provision other than using basic children's books, whose subjects are not really appropriate for the adults' age. This book is a welcome addition to the resources available.

Easy to read, good to have questions to ask. The vocabulary is helpful.

I use this book with my Japanese students learning English, and found it's easier for them to understand the stories. Other resources in the book also help with students studies.

Livro bom! Minha Analise: A leitura dele e simples, facil de entender. Para quem esta numa leitura avançanda.. digamos que Very good on English, pode ser que ele seja enjoativo... Mas caso você seja um leitor "novo" sem muito conhecimento das palavras, ele e ótimo para um treinamento.. Ele apresenta Também algumas dicas na introdução do livro de como aprender melhor. Esta e minha analise :) boa sorte na sua jornada de aprendizado em inglês! Não dessita XD
