Covers my pockets
I was getting sawdust in my pockets when I was using the lathe. I have a 44" waist and most of the aprons out there are under 34". This was inexpensive enough that I didn't mind gambling on it. It covers my pockets and they don't get filled with sawdust. It's light & cool. And I didn't spend $30 on a turner's smock.
