Nice pot

First brewed with adding tea leaves to strainer and then putting on stove to boil. After that, boiled water, inserted strainer and tea and left to steep. I found I can control the strength of the tea better that way. I had no problems with the top as stated in other reviews.

You get what you pay for..

It’s very pretty and perfect for what I was looking for but buyer beware it is not high quality. The handle get very very hot. You’ll need a pot holder. For the price I think it’s nice.
