Nothing special when you open these up. They also try to block 3rd parties from making ones for it so they can charge more And, they don't even make smaller ones. Arlo is simply overpriced for what you get. **Q: Why do I keep getting notifications to charge my battery with the outdoor magnetic charging cable plugged in? Its the security light camera.** A: Because the system has a number of flaws. It has no battery bypass which means it constantly charges the battery. The battery as designed does not accommodate shallow maintenance charging so eventually it stops allowing charging. In addition I have two cameras with defective sensors that only recognize the chargers when the battery is full. It gives me more time between battery changes but they still have to be changed. These are design defects so there is no way to fix them. **Q: For the outdoor magnetic charging cable, one side is magnetic for the camera connection, what type of connection is the other end? USB, normal outlet?** A: The prior answer indicated there was a USB on the power-side end ... but the product I just received did not have a USB on the power-side end. It has a 110v AC Adaptor that would plug into a normal US wall outlet (P/N: 332-50080-04, Model: AD2151320 Rev:01) - Input 110-240v ~ 50/60Hz 0.3A, Output 9v at 1A. It seems to be planned deception when they do not show a picture of the entire cable, and do not mention the connectors in their specifications.
