The embossed stamp headis crisp, well defined, and produces excellent results in the softer metals and I suspect they would even work on mild steel - although it would likely shorten their useable lifespan.My only very minor complaint is the container these punches arrived in. In the picture a heavy-duty plastic case is shown; in reality, a thin, steel, tinfoil-esque carton was provided.
